  1. Thanks for the reassurance. I already have that page bookmarked ready and waiting!
  2. Okay, thank you so much for your help. This form has been scaring me for a while now and I finally feel like I understand it!
  3. Okay thank you. So just to clarify before I print/send this off. At this point I send the court my AQ questionnaire with the long version of section G - other information, and the draft order for directions (on 2 separate sheets) Then when the judge comes back in a couple of weeks time to me, I then have to file all information in the order for directions? Is the draft direction order in post #2 of the link you gave me, the up to date version? Also, in the last paragraph of the section G - other information it says... As my claim is already at the small claims track does this still need to be said? Sorry for all the questions (and repeatativeness), I just really don't want to mess up at this point.
  4. Have been delayed slightly with filing my AQ as I've been very busy with work and haven't had a chance to fill out the last bit. I am filling in section G "Other information" and I'm utterly clueless as to what I'm meant to write here. Is there some kind of template available which I could get some ideas from? I've looked around a lot but haven't been able to find anything like this. Thank you in advance.
  5. Thanks you, that helps a lot. I assume I would know if I was going down the draft direction order route?
  6. I'll check that out thanks lateralus. Right - I am about to file my AQ now, I've read over a lot for this but my head is just spinning with the amount of info to take in. So, I'm sending my AQ to the court they've told me to. Do I need to send a copy to DG? If so, do I just photocopy it? Am I right in understanding that I don't send anything along with the AQ form, just the lone form? Thank you in advance.
  7. Can you not leave it until you get paid and then follow the correct proceedings with LBA's and then court? If you keep sending them LBA's then they might not take you too seriously, as it might seem like an empty threat.
  8. Got the defence through the post yesterday with the AQ papers. I've read through some threads but have seen a bit of conflicting information. Is it best to submit the AQ sooner rather than later, or wait until the last minute to submit? Also is there any point in communicating with DG at this point to maybe get on their radar now that it's at this stage, or will it just annoy them and make them more reluctant to deal with mine? Thanks in advance.
  9. Checked this morning and they have finally filed their defense! So now another waiting game.
  10. The 28 day deadline is up for them to submit their defence - is it worth trying to press the judgement button on the page, or should I call the courts instead?
  11. Thanks for that. The only problem is, my claim is for less than £1000 so I can't claim that I'll be saving them any money by not filing an AQ, as I don't have to pay for it. But I do think they should get my claim over and done with so they can deal with some of the bigger ones. I wouldn't be happy with anything other than full payment though, that's what they want us to do, get tired of it dragging on then settle for less.
  12. Not heard anything back from them, surprise surprise. Now.. My defence deadline is Friday, and I doubt they're going to file before that, so if they don't, what is the normal response. Am I right in thinking I should contact the courts? I'm assuming they'll give the standard +7 days or something similar. What should I be asking the courts if I contact them though? Thanks.

Didn't realise there was a court there, guess it's where my case will be allocated to if it goes that far, as I live 10 mins away.

Shoreditch as in, London, Shoreditch? Or is there another? And there are no wrong's in hassling DG.
  15. Thanks for this lateralus. I think I'll be doing this in the next couple of weeks!
  16. Sent the following email off to Rachel this morning - will send the same off to the rest of them today/tomorrow. Dear xx, I am aware of the high volume of claims which you are dealing with at the moment, so is there anything I can do to help you to expedite my claim? Kind Regards, Me Only 5 days left until they have to defend!
  17. BBC NEWS | Business | HSBC hits record profits of $22bn Looks like they'll have plenty of money to give back to us then.
  18. hehe good suggestions! Thanks, that's great - just the kind of idea I was looking for. I think I will start with the 'is there anything I can do to help you to expedite my claim' emails on Monday. It is only for £950 yes - so pennies really!
  19. Thanks - I already have the phone numbers listed, but looking for something semi-worthwhile to follow up with at the moment as I can't think of anything that won't make me sound stupid to call up / email and say to them. Just want to pester them!
  20. Okay.. after getting very motivated by all your successes, I feel like I should be doing more to get DG solicitors so annoyed with me that they want to get me out of the way and my claim sorted.. So, at this point (waiting for them to defend) is there anything I can do to get myself on their radar, so to speak? Like pestering emails/calls, if so, what would I actually say? Or is that stuff best left until AQ time? I've sent my summary of charges and they've confirmed they received it.
  21. Congrats netty you must be thrilled.
  22. As far as I'm aware, you don't have to pay for the AQ unless it's over £1500. And if you do pay, you get it back as part of the claim, same as filing the MCOL.
  23. Those are options you can choose after the 28 days is up, if they don't file, or they admit all money is owed (second one is very unlikely!).
  24. Oops that's what I mean, sorry! Okay, so the 9th of March then.
