  1. Well I am now away from home (at the bf's parents and then mine) until a week on Monday!! So if anything comes through the post I won't see it. I think I may be getting one of my flat mates to have a look at the post to see if there's anything offer-like in there! Is there any way of identifying the envelope being from DG from the outside?
  2. Aren't the transfers based on your nearest court?
  3. Just contact any of them. Kate's name is on all of the defences filed. I've had Kate, Debbie and Rachel's names on my documentation I've received. When I call I always leave a message on Rachel and Kate's voicemail and they usually call me back (sometimes a day later though). They all have access to ours files.
  4. Hi bex, normal procedure would be for them to wait until the end of the 28 days and then they will defend. And after that there is an Allocation Questionnaire which needs to be filled out (you'll read up on that before it happens though I expect). In the meantime it's a great help to read through the FAQ/step-by-step guides, and other peoples threads. An offer can come through at any point, but generally speaking the banks want people to wait as long as possible in hope it will put them off. So it's not until the later stages for most people. Good luck.
  5. Nice one. Fingers crossed we get some nice offer letters through soon! Have you called Rachel or Kate to see if they've received the AQ?
  6. I had the same, Helen. I have contacted the courts and they will be filing an unless order. Sent DG a little nudge in the right direction reminding them that they haven't submitted the AQ (Which I think you saw on my thread) - maybe you should send the same?
  7. Well.. The letter was 90% written by you lateralus. Hoping it will give a nudge in the right direction, and really hope that the 'we'll be sending you a letter as soon as possible' wasn't just a 'go away please' line! I was surprised at how nice Rachel was actually, I expected her to be quite nasty due to the amount of claims they have at the moment - it'd definitely make me grumpy 24/7.
  8. Thanks! Just got a phonecall back from Rachel who I'd left a message for a couple of days ago, she was a lot friendlier than I thought she would be! She was very apologetic about the amount of time it took for her to come back to me and said they'd received and filed my AQ, and will be sending me out a letter ASAP. At least it might move me up a rung on their ladder of contacting! (Fingers crossed) Will still be sending out that letter this afternoon.
  9. I called them and they haven't filed - forgot to mention the unless order though so will call them again in a minute to find out. I have written a letter based on the template lateralus has given us. Would like some opinions as to whether this is okay to send out please:
  10. Wishful thinking! I can't remember when my AQ deadline was, I think it was the 31st, I may ring the court today and ask them. All my documentation is filed at home so can't check until I leave work!
  11. Okay, I received my AQ documents on the 13th March (hope that's not a bad sign!! ) - is it 14 days from the 13th that they have to file their AQ by? If so, I'm assuming they had to have their AQ in by 27th? Which means it's late.
  12. I think I got my Transfer of proceedings in the same envelope as my AQ. But don't hold me to that because I may be wrong! What date did you receive the transfer of proceedings? Did you get HSBC's defence with the transfer of proceedings?
  13. There is loads of information on the site which is very helpful, it's definitely worth reading through it if you haven't already. Have a look here: http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/bank-templates-library/11644-allocation-questionnaires-guide-completion.html There's a bit of information about the AQ there. Have you received your AQ through the post?
  14. Left a message for Kate earlier and she called me back a minute ago, they have no record of receiving the copy of my AQ (Was signed for last Friday) but she said it might just be a case of it's not been filed yet and she will look through and call me tomorrow when she finds it. So at least that might have drawn my case to their attention! Kate was very polite too, which was nice.
  15. Well i'm definitely not arguing that any of the charges are reasonable or even slightly viable! But the credit card company will just be looking to see how you handle your finances and when they see charges etc it doesn't look good, so I wouldn't have thought there is anything you can do unfortunately.
  16. The charges would have been placed there because you were overdrawn, I doubt the amount charged would have been relevant to the declining of your application. I'm assuming they didn't take the charges for no reason? That is the likely reason for it I would have guessed. I'm far from an expert on this kind of thing though.
  17. I went into my bank today and whilst I was in there I asked the advisor I was talking to about my customer behaviour rating. Does anyone know if how they deal with these claims would have any relevance to our ratings? I know they have different call centres (UK / India) for the Higher / Lower customer ratings so it wouldn't surprise me if it had any relevance on speed they deal with the claim/way the handle it? Although they told me mine was very good and my rating was high (they said they weren't supposed to tell people what they were - but the guy said he would anyway - not sure whether they say that to everyone!), but I have had no responses yet from my claim and I'm past the AQ stage! Just wanted to get a few opinions on this.
  18. How much is your claim for Micheyboo? Hope you get an offer through soon.
  19. Hi Helen, hope you get an offer through soon too! I won't hold my breath on getting an offer through anytime soon - I have had no correspondence from them so far. My AQ was due in 31st March but I decided to get it over and done with! Will you be filing a draft direction order with your AQ?
  20. Thanks for the support. I've had a good read up on what the next steps are and I'm sure the time will pass very slowly! I'm going to be printing out some stuff to read in my spare time to make sure I know the in's and out's of what's happening, as I realised when I sent my AQ off that I'd be way too unorganised, as I didn't even know what the draft direction order was! (although a read-up at the last minute remedied that!) Thanks again for the help here, it's much appreciated.
  21. Quick update, according to the RM site, AQ documents received by both parties Friday morning.
  22. I made sure they did, I used the templates off of the thread given above. Sent AQ and AQ copy yesterday recorded delivery. Back to waiting,
  23. Okay so I have one envelope to my local court with AQ and 2 additional sheets paperclipped on, and I have one envelope with the AQ photocopied and 2 additional sheets paperclipped on, and a cover letter "please find enclosed etc..". Last question for now I promise!! Do I need any cover letter to the court? Or am I ready to go?
  24. This is probably a silly question, but do I just photocopy the AQ for the copy to send to DG?
