Well done on getting the £2000.00 back off them. Make sure you get everything that they owe you including court costs. Write telling them the claim will not be stopped until you have all YOUR money refunded.

It will probably be a week or so yet. As to court site I had my money back and it was still not showing that they had acknowledged it. Not sure if they even did acknowledge as they paid me before they had to. It Will Come

Thanks for the info I stand corrected then it will be 12 hours at @ £9.25 therefore £111.00 plus £30.00 subtotal £141.00 plus court costs As this will be fast track I will of course want full disclosure. Time for more study me thinks

Well I have recently received a nasty letter from NW asking for £193.00 as this was what I owed from my overdraft when they closed my account after my successful claim. They took a £30.00 returned DD fee after I filed in court. they have ignored my letter to them pointing this out and have sent a letter say they are going to default me. Letter going off now to Charles Bacon and Member Services saying that I will be filing in Court (again) asking for: £30.00 unlawful penalty charge £180.00 for my time ie. 12 hours @ £15.00 per hour £36.00 Court Fees Total £246.00 Lets see what they think of this:-D Claim will be filed on 21st of November.

I would send a prelim letter giving them 7 days. Allow 2 days for postage then send your LBA.;-)

Have you paid anything yet ? If you have a DD set up on your bank account I would cancell it. If you received any materials then return them.

Your best bet is to ring the CPC (Civil Process Centre). Just give them your name and address etc. and they should be able to help.

It took mine 15 days from time claim was deemed filled. there were no leters from them or the court. I take it you got your copies of the claim back. Just keep checking the account. Should have your money on about 20th -25th or there abouts. Also check with the CPC as to when it was served. Phone No. 028 90724566

Got my letter regarding closure of my account about 8 days after they had settled my claim. It will come

Got my letter about 2 days ago. letter dated 20/09/2006. I have until the 20th of October to pay off my overdraught and then the account will be closed. Not too worried as i am only about £45.00 overdrawn however there was a charge for a returned DD just after I filed my claim and the letter they sent says they have refunded one amount but on adding up the credits to my account they still owe me £9.00. I am going to write a letter to them pointing out their mistake and asking them to credit the £30.00 penalty charge, if they agree to refund then o.k. if not then off to court again. This time i will ask for 15 hours of my time just to concentrate their minds. Hopefully they will just credit the £39.00 without any hassle

if you sent the prelim letter then 14 days later send your LBA allow 1 or 2 days for delivery. Stick to your time table not theirs. Good luck

Yes now you should file your moeyclaim and you should then have your money back soon. On the plus side you can now add 8% interest Not long now!!

Thanks Elsie hopefully yours will be on the way soon. I rang the Process Office last Wednesday who said the notice of claim had been served but they had not heard back from NW. No details on the online claim site either. On adding up the refund amount, interest plus Court fees refunded is accurate to the penny but the 2 refunds of interest ie the penalty charges is £1945.50 where as I was claiming £1954.50 so £9.00 short. I think this is possibly a typo on their part but am not too worried about it. However I have still one returned DD fee of £30.00 which came out a few weeks ago. I will get in touch with them in regards to this. If they refund if then and only then will I inform the Court that I am satisfied with the out come otherwise I will chase them for the £9.00.

2 payments now show on my account as Refund of interest total: £1950.00 approx and 1 showing as cash credit £505.00 which is equal to Interest plus Court fees. Will sort my Paypal accout out as I had problems getting it to work a month or so back and then donation will be on the way. Thanks to all on this site. Will fill in survey as well.
