Can anyone explain what a large red exclamation mark means on Experian report.

A default showing previously has now changed to Satisfactory £0.

Does this mean the default has been removed and will it mke a difference to the credit rating?

Just indicates that there is an entry that has impact on the ''mystical credit score''.

The Zero balance indicates that the account has been sold on, so keep an eye on

the files for a new owner for the account.

Thanks for your answer but the account was paid in full in 2009 so there is nothing to sell on.

When we queried the default with the catalogue company, they said, in writing " I can confirm that the default has been removed already "

When we checked with Experian we saw that the entry had changed to Satisfactory.

So should we still be concerned?
