I NEED URGENT HELP AS REGARDING IST CREDIT AND CONNAUGHT, OVER A 1460.00 WHICH THEY ALLEGE I OWE , AND I KEEP WRITING THEM LETTERS AND KEEP GETTING THE SAME ONE BACK ( YOU A HAVE RAISED A DISPUTE/ QUERY AND THIS PROCESS MAY TAKE AT LEAST ONE MONTH ) I HAVE HAD 4 OF THESE LETTERS FROM IST CREDIT ALSO CONNAUGHT WAS INVOLVED IN THE BEGINNING BUT THEY HAVE JUMPED OUT OF IT NOW.(this is really stressing me out and worrying me)IF ANYONE HAS GOT THE PATIENCE AND TIME TO LISTEN TO THIS ITS A REAL SAGA?THANKS 2SHEP.

WHEN I RECIEVED THE FIRST LETTER OFF CONNAUGHT I WROTE TO THEM SAYING IT WAS STAT. BARRED ( AS IT WAS WELL OVER SIX YEARS) THEN THE THREATS AND HARRASSMENT BECAME HORRENDOUS (the bailliffs would be there next day, bankrupcey within days telling me to take a loan against my home which 1st credit could arrange etc. etc.)IF I PAYED THEM £35 WITH A CREDIT CARD OR DEBIT CARD FOR THEIR TIME NO FURTHER ACTION WOULD BE TAKEN NAIVELY I GAVE THEM MY DEBIT CARD NUMBER .WHEN MY PARTNER (rang me in the evening he told me to stop the payment immediately I TRIED BUT IT HAD ALREADY GONE THROUGH AND PAID , THEY THEN ISSUED A STAT. DEMAND IN A WEEK OR SO LATER 2008 APRIL( BUT AT THE BEGINNING OF APRIL I HAD ALREADY SENT THEM A LETTER SAYING IT WAS STAT. BARRED , I ATTENDED COURT AND HAD IT SET ASIDE (they never even turned up)CONNAUGHT THEN SENT ME A LETTER SAYING THEY HAD HANDED EVERYTHING BACK TO 1ST. CREDIT .THE FIRST LETTER FROM 1ST. CREDIT I SENT THEM A £1.00 postal order for a c.c.a.IN JUNE 2008 NO ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF THE C.C.A.AND I STILL HAVE HAD 4 LETTERS FROM 1ST. CREDIT STATING I HAVE RAISED A DISPUTE/ QUERY I HAVE SENT 1ST. CREDIT ALL THE PAPERWORK ON OCTOBER 2009 ALSO A LETTER SAYING THE DEBT IS STAT. BARRED BUT NOW I HAVE GOT THE SAME LETTER BACK AGAIN YOU HAVE RAISED A DISPUTE/QUERY.WHAT ON EARTH CAN I DO ?ITS DRIVING ME MAD,HOPE SOMEONE CAN HELP.

Make a complaint to your local trading standards & the OFT with regards to their harassment and threats, they are in clear breach of OFT guidelines & CPUT ;
