Help with CCA

I am trying to help my dad with his CCA requests, he has a Abbey credit card but also holds his main account with them and also has his mortgage with them.

Is it safe to pursue them under CAA for the card when he has all othert accounts with them? Help please

Yes it is, who issued the Abbey Credit Card

Was it issued by Abbey, Santander, or MBNA

Abbey but he also has one issued by MBNA

I was under the impression that Abbey cards (Before Santander) were from MBNA,

Thanks for advice I can see that when it comes to Abbey and my parents cards I lack the knowledge to do this successfully. Think I will just avoid their accounts with Abbey and try the others.

But there are many people here can advise on any actions you can take against ABBEY, has your father sent the CCA request or in the case of penalty charges a SAR

No not yet, he was unsure as he has a mortgage with them. I spoke to him and the Abbey card I though was a credit card is actually a debit so that clear's that matter up.

All his other credit cards with Abbey are MBNA cards and he holds 3.

So a claim against MBNA wont have any effect on his Abbey accounts.

MBNA and ABBEY are not part of the same group, sometime ago MBNA issued ABBEY Credit Cards.

ABBEY is part of Santandar, it has no link to MBNA.
