I was made redundant from my job of 10 years in 2004. I feel I may have a claim for breach of contract and wondered if anyone can tell me if I am now too late to take action against the company.

Am I also entitled to copies of my personnel files and other documents the company hold about me.

I would really appreciate any advice.

Cheers

Molly

I don't think that it si too late - the statute of limitation is 6 years - but this would need to be a court action for damages for breach of contract - it's far too late for ET. A damages would need to be quantifiable.

You are entitled to a copy of your personnel file. If they won't simply give you a copy, then SAR under the DPA
