My partner paid £2500 via Switch to Roadcraft UK to learn to be a Driving Instructor as he had been made redundant and thought it was an opportunity of getting back into work. Unfortunately before he had even started any lessons he received a letter from them saying that they had gone out of business and he had no money or assets that he could claim from, but if he paid by credit card he could claim from them. As he had paid by Switch, this was in effect the same as paying in cash. Roadcraft UK was not a limited company and there were two named directors. Does anyone know if there is anyway my partner can get any money from these two people? We don't know their home addresses, but I am sure they must be living somewhere probably on the proceeds of my partner and all the other people they let down by taking money under false pretences.
