Okay, mines up on the 28th so were nearly at the same stage... although I skipped the LBA as someone tld me you never get the full amount, and you miss out on the interest etc! Anyway, what I suggest you do is go back to here http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/hsbc-bank/ any on the left hand side a little way down theres a button to start a new thread! I suggest you start your own thread. Im sure someone will be along in no time at all with a letter for you to use!! They're fantastic on this site and are always very quick and very helpful!! Ill wait for someone to come along and tell you what you should say in letter but I think it would go along the lines of that you will accept the amount as a partial refund but will be continuing with your claim for the full amount including interest and court costs OR like you said just refuse it! Because even if you say you'll accept it as a partial refund the offer just seems to dissapear!! When are your 28 days up?
