me too elaine, sent me two of everything must've cost more than the £5 in postage
-
it's amazing how it adds up isn't it? On one day they'd taken £478 off of me
-
good luck Kaz, I was totally stunned at how much they'd taken from me. Fingers crossed we'll both be celebrating soon
-
they gave me a receipt too, but I'd paid them £5 for the statements, so could be slightly different
-
congratulations baz enjoy your hols

I'm a little behind you in that I've only sent off my preliminary letter today, but I was under the impression you have to pay the court fees when you file the claim and the fee gets added onto the amount you're claiming. I could be wrong though, and I'm sure somebody will correct me if this is the case. Cheers

it's not complicated at all, just download the simple excel calculation, all you need to do is; put in the charge, amount & date and it calculates it all for you. I reckon it's worth doing, you'll probably find out it's another couple of hundred quid or so

good luck woozie, you go girl

hi guys, got my statements through today (two sets of each) and totalled up to £3,276. Gonna send a preliminary letter off tomorrow, why do I get the feeling that I'm going to be the one that goes all the way to court? Anyway, wish me luck -

congratulations Libby, a thoroughly inspiring thread Well done, enjoy it...you definitely deserve it x -
Hi Lisa, it looks like people that have followed the FAQ instructions to the letter have all received a full payout. I'd get yourself acquainted with the step by step instructions, they're so good and it makes it far less daunting than it would otherwise be. I'm in the same boat as you in that I requested my statements yesterday. Good luck

congratulations

cheers martin, I've already inserted the charges that I've got statements for, so just waiting for the others and it'll be all systems go apologies to any women that may be offended, that was the first thing that came into my head. And my ex was a bit of a dragon -
Hi guys, been reading through this site for a few days and decided to give it a go. Went to Halifax and requested all my statements up to March 2005 (I have from then on). Lady asked why I wanted them, said I was having problems with ex-girlfriend and had to prove that I was solely paying the mortgage. Anyway, paid the £5 and she said they'd be sent out tonight, so should get them early next week. Wish me luck

Just stumbled across your site and looks very informative and useful. Didn't realise the bank charges I'd been getting were so unlawful, I reckon that I've been charged nearly £2,000 in the last 3 years, so might have a read through and see where I stand. Wish me luck
