Yes please mate, I just want to send it back asking for a cheque tbh.
-
OK I have mulled it over and decided to take the money, thanks so much for the help guys, as soon as I get the money in my account I will make a donation One last thing, I have a managed loan and am a little concerned that they qwill try and pay the loan off with the money. I have never defaulted on the loan so they shouldn't do but how do I send the letter back ensuring it gets paid into my current account ?
-
Have to admit thats what I'm thinking. My missus is mad that i'm even thinking about it!!!
-
OK they've made an offer of £1570. Now ideally I would like to have the lot back but I could really do with this money. Need to mull things over tonight I think.
-
I've had an offer!!!!! 1570 quid out of 1710. Yours will be soon matey!!! Got to mull things over now, not sure whether to pursue the other 100 or so quid.
-
I sent mine first class this time - hopefully everything will arrive as normal though.
-
me too mate, hopefully they will settle before the money claim thingy
-
crap!!! didn't realise it would cost that much, 220 smackers
-
Ok will do, out of interest, when i come to claim through moneyclaim, how much is it? I see that you have to pay via a credit card but it doesn't say how much it is.
-

sharpcircle replied to BankFodder's topic in LloydsTsb Successes
But where has the daily mail said that it is settled. Now while I trust a guy on a forums that I have never met as much as the next man (just kidding fodder, I know your telling the truth )I would like a link for my own personal feelgood benefit -

Hmmm, I can't find anywhere that this case has been settled - has anyone got a link? -
Yeah they received mine on monday as well. I'll just sit and count the days
-
jesus christ. What a polava!!!! Well I opened a step account with Natwest today and they are happy to transfer everything to them so thats cool. I think i'll request for my current account to be closed and see what happens.
-
Still got a managed loan here - about 2 years off paying it off too :/
-
Agreed!! Would be nice to have a holiday
-
will be interesting to see how our cases pan out as it looks like we're on the same timetable to the hour!! I sent mine recorded delivary at 12 pm
-
excellent mate, sounds good. I sent mine to Leeds also although I just addressed it to HSBC rather than a specific person. good luck
-
didn't see that - thanks mate

My credit rating isn't great (although it can't be that bad as I got a mortgage off lloyds in august) which bank would take me if hsbc close my account? I only want a solo card and such but don't know who to apply with, reason I havent applied with lloyds is they don't do solo.
-
I don't think its likely that they'll close my account, I have a managed loan with them that the forced me to take after going overdrawn.
-
your claiming all of that - the 'bank services' thing is rubbish, what bank service costs you 72 quid??
