  3. Don't appeal. This is a well known scam site to us. It's even been exposed on national TV by Joe Lycett! The traditional route was that we'd push Starbucks to cancel the PCN but that hasn't been working as of late. You've got 2 options: 1. Pay the £60 and the matter goes away. 2. Ignore them and engage with us. We'd rather you choose option 2. We'll be with you every step of the way. The good news is that MET rarely goes to court with this, providing you engage with us properly. The times they have is when people have either come to us late or have ignored our advice. Many times, once defended properly with our advice, they claims are either discontinued by MET or struck out by the courts. Get reading up by using the search feature and searching "Southgate Park", go see how many cases we have here of this scam site, get used to the process. Get reading at least 20+ threads
  4. While I agree with getting it done by an authorised dealer in this case, for future reference a stop/start battery for one of these cars are about £120 and anyone with a £40 BMW specific scanner off of Amazon can "register" the battery.
  5. Can you post up a copy of the defence from Big Motoring world also? Read upload <-- to redact and correctly submit as a PDF.
  6. SIomeone under 18 can be chased for a debt only if it's for something deemed as needed everyday (mobile phone contract, food etc) I think this will be a legal grey area and yet another reason to ignore DWF
  7. A true shame for Street really. A genuine asset for the region caught in the crossfire of the incompetence of his Westminster counterparts. I hope the Labour Mayor can attract the same investment for Birmingham and the surrounding areas. The Muslim vote didn't really boycott in the West Midlands, they voted for the independent who campaigned pretty much exclusively on Gaza.
  8. Hi. Welcome to CAG. I've had to edit your post to make it easier to read for people on smaller screens (such as mobile) Can you post up a redacted copy of your claim form and your draft witness statement so that we can assist?
  9. DWF can't do anything as they act for a client. In this case, Sainsbury's. Sainsbury's could take you to court and ATTEMPT to get a CCJ but it's unlikely. They had no interest in dealing with you at the time. All DWF can do is send out pointless threatograms. They'll threaten to divert an Iranian drone to your house if you don't pay. However, they can't attempt to get a CCJ against you. IGNORE THEM. It's more important now to understand why you were allegedly shoplifting, and you should speak with your GP and try and get yourself signposted to the support that's available.
  10. How long is the finance arrangement for and how much has been paid?
