Hi, I got one dormant company where i am director and i have received letter of proposed strike off by companies house. Will this imapct my credit rating or otherwise? I have not traded, only registered to allocate name.

Actually someone from moneexpert forum wrote - Because unless he (landlords)confirms to you in writing that he is withdrawing the Stat demand he can still make you bankrupt. You only have 18 days to set aside the SD so the quicker you file a SD set aside on the basis that you have paid the landlord in full the better.

So if i have settled this demand with my landlord - i dont have to do anything at all? Court is not going to proceed further with this demand since they haven heard from me? Hi, I am selling my company which has a debts (some utilities, little rent arrears and business rate debts) and i have someone interested in purchase of company. Company i'm selling is limited company and buyer is individual who wants to take over and be owner/director of my company. What is procedure and what papers shall i prepare/sign? All i want that at later stage none of my creditors wont chase me. Cheers

Not sure if this is right place. I decided to try and go for settlement with my creditor in regards to my debt. What would be good ideas to "present" as why i dont want to pay full amount? Obviously because i cannot, but what else can i put down as reason? What would be good catch for my creditor to go for my offer? Thank you in advance

I signed as individual - just Peter X .... And i am director of this limited company. BTW is the name you used the correct company name? - sorry no, i just used this name as example. My company is still running

Cheers guys for reply, Actually me and my partner are directors of this limited company Trading As .. So basically both directors signed Licence Agreement trading as Lightsource (actually Lightsource Limited).

Thank you for reply. My only concern is that few months ago we received letter from Landlord warning us that Licence Agreement is due to expire. At the end there is sentence - We, Peter X and John X hereby acknowledge that our continued occupation of the Property will be as tenants at will after the expiry of Licence Agreement on xx/xx which we signed. Would this affect us? I only pointing out that this letter does not include Trading As PSOURCE after our names.

Yes it is registered as Limited company. All accounts are up to date, etc.

Debt owed is 6400, however SD shows as 8900,- . After phone call with Landlord - he agreed that correct amount should be 6400,- .

Received SD today from our Landlord. Our company owes him rent money fro 2 months. Original Licence Agreement was issued to Peter X (myself) and John X (my business partner) trading as "PSource Ltd". 1) Why landlord is serving SD only to me personally (SD has my home address and my name/surname on it)? 2) We are still occupying premises and due to move out end of the month (as stated in original agreement) - can he still serve SD? 3) Upon asking question 1 to Landlord i got answer - first we will chase you for whole debt, if you dont pay - we go after your business partner..
