  1. Thanks for referring to a SP Rep, what info do they need from me so they can contact me directly ? or do you pass on from here ? Part of the reason I think it's been tampered with is that there are 3 different Builders whin the street completing properties within the last few months, 1 of which is opposite and 1 which adjacent, maybe just a coincidence. My manin concern if I can't prove been tamapred with or metre faulty I will have to pay 400 which I don't have.
  2. I have been taking readings as much as possible when I am at home, though I often work 6 days a week. My last reading last night was 35904 and the reading this morning is 35906 however the 5 and 9 look as though they have almost turned. When I went to my meter this morning which is outside the door was open which is not the first time. This might sound like a stupid question but could the meter be affected by extreme gale winds ? The reason I ask this that I live in a fairly remote place and was extremely windy last night. In addition to working up to 6 days a week which I can prove to Scottish Power I was not at the property, I can also prove that I was away on holiday during the period of the last submitted reading
  3. I have what I believe to be a faulty or Tampered Electric metre and I really need some advice on how I raise this with Scotiish power. The reason I think it's fault or been tampered with is that since I moved into this new property as it was in Aug 2008, I have only generally used on average 6 units of Electric a day. My Tariff is online is NSC fixed online. I am fairly engery conscious and most of my appliances are A rated and only use energy saving light bulbs. I submitted a reading on Friday 21st Dec 2012 as I wanted a refund on my built up credit, however when I entered the reading which I though was high, it came back to say from 16th Oct to 21st dec 2012 I had used 3837 Units I nearly fell off my chair. Please Please can someone advise me on this ? I have already raised a dispute with Scottish Power but am concerned if I can't prove I didnt use it I will still have to pay the 400 bill
