hello all i have got the 4th letter from rlp saying '' we assume that as u havnt replied to any of our communication, u have no intention of settling the dispute, hence we will after 21 days transfer ur file to debt collectors' now i m thinking what the debt collectors do? i havent even sent a single line letter to rlp denying any liability. shud i do this now or just remain ignorant about the mails they have been sending

hi all i use one of teh gyms up in scotland, i had my stuff in one of the lockers and i forgot to take that out after i used teh gym (it was still locked in teh gym locker) some one (probably teh gym managemebt) snapped teh lockers and took out all teh stuff it was easter day off and i was meaning to go shopping after gym, i thot i wud leave th stuff in locker n go n get my shopping done n when i return home i will take my stiff back but i forgot i dont know what to do i been to gym today n found th locker was snapped and th gym guy told me i wud need to see th manager also he mentione dthat gym doesnt takes responsibility of teh stuff an d the gym lockers r only to be used during th gym session ( i know he is right but i m just stressed) it had my ghd hair starightner and blow dryer both cost around 200 pound and my gym gear around 100 odd quids 300 pounds seems to have gone in drain can anyone please suggest what i can do? shud i police complaint it? many thanks

i applied for switch, they started it before the agreed date, they accessed my credit file more than once leaving imprints of i being accessed, they denied me an account, and with a second letter a day after they offered me account for same application, the credit report said santander denied me an account and at the same tiem one of th crediat card application was being processed who check ed th file and see sandtander denying em a current account, following that the other comapny denied me a credit card, sanatdner again accessed my credit report without any reason and wrote to me asking my id so that they can complete my account file and i can receive cards n stuff from them.

sorry i hv no problems with my credit my experian score is bang on 1000. i have nenevr defualted on a direct debit ever in my life, no bank charges ever, my cards r paid outright before due dates and no interest has been charged on any card of mine ever, i do not know how they accesed my details THRICE for one bank account n messed it up

only basic accounts within rbs n natwest have acess to their cash machines, other current accounts can use any cash machine

hello I have a complaint against santader with the financial ombudsman, the complaint reviewer in ombudsman has sent me a letter saying that santabnder is offering 50 pounds for stress and inconvinience, i m raging, why ....the story is here under. i applied for an account over teh phone, a switcher a s i was annoyed by my presnet bank. sanatdner accessed my credit file twice n send me conflicting lettersm in first letter they denied me an account !! (being a santander staff !! ) second letter came through teh next day asking em to send my id;s as they r hapy to welcoem me in sanatdner wth my new account !!! i accessed my credit report and there it was adverse info result of that a store card wch i applied for was rejected by BHS this happend in august and santader terribly failed to address the issue, and there efficent call centre employees kept passing em around to irrelevant departments increasing my phone bills. managers in sanatder have blindly put me thriugh to dept who were not evebn involved like ppi !! manger in one of teh team denied to give me her name !! one of teh guy o spoke to in complaint team todl me that my initial complaint is closed or withdrwan, i never did either. i m so so annoyed at sanatder dun know what to do please suggest, financial ombudsman has been teh most stupid choice i made i guess. i have speant so much time n money on chasing this comapliant wth sanatdner and thsi has deterred me from applying for credit card at teh tiem when i badly needed money please advice how i can beat the hell out of sanatdner thnaks

hello just been to rlp website and read thru the cases, the case no 001 and 002 mentions shop lifting and also mentions about repeat offenders, the amount rlp claims to be covered from teh claimant in case 0002 seems to be very high, any one has any comment on that case at all

it will be on crb an enhanced one, when u say prosecuted, did u got fpn or court proceedings? what was the outcome of court proceedings? I spoke to CRB n disclosure scotland i was told that fpn appear on enhanced crb's but again it wud be police's discretion to attach more details to it on the basis of magnitude of crime like if u were involved in sexual assault/abuse, drinking and ****ing on streets etc. contact the met police line and crb people, they tell you about it and u can keep ur name anonymous.

hello you would fill in no, an FPN is not a convction neither a caution, its fixed penalty that u paid for a minor offence, however it will appear on enhanced CRB only provided on police's discretion if u r applying to a job sector that requires them to detail it for security and safety purposes. i posted the same reply on ur other post too. i have discussed this in detail with scottish and met police as I had same issues.

at CKYM hello FPN is not a conviction however it will appear on enhanced crb under english law as per the discretion of the police (espcially whn u apply for jobs which have a significant exposure to children and vulnerable people of society) source: MET police dept and disclosure scotland.

lol silverfox i know what you mean, i m sick and tired of whole rlp thing now, it annoys me if soem one mentions there name i just wondered if sending the letter back might stop them from getting in touch with me and actually save cost - without prejudice

hello All I am back again. Got the second letter from RLP. haven't opened it yet as I know what it would be like. I am not paying them just wanted to ask a suggestion, I live in a rented flat and I m tempted to send the letter back to the sender, atleast that would stop them from sending a letter to me ( i hope so) the face of teh letter says 'if undelivered please to bla di bla di bla'' I just don't want to read their name any more on any correspondence. Please suggest

hello Curious yellow. I have been through all this recently ( u can read the post) for RLP i have one line advise - do not entertain them at all, they dont have a legal backing, i have researched a lot on it and i think i know a lot by now. If the CRIME was that big then the police must have taken further action ( i was served with a caution for a honest mistake i did under some mental pressure, i m really worried about that caution but not at all about rlp) Reading the websites of police (met and scottish police) it appears that the police have discretionary power so that teh courts are not botehred by petty or stupid offenders like me as it saves time and cost and I beleive that, RLP would not go in court as they would have to convince the court that the case has a legal standing and plus having and FNP sorts it out that legal system has done there part and teh store if pleases can ban the offender. take care and forget about rlp. i punished myself a lot by thinking of the consequences and I dont want anyone else to think about it, it was a mistake done, forget it please.

i dont understand what you mean dx. i was not handcuffed or taken to police station, never was asked to sign anything and wasnt read anything sort of rights or stuff

did you presented ur id like a passport or drivers licence in brnach for identification before the brnach called th collections (collections dun put the block on account/card, its a diff dept n i m assuming that the branch person spoke to them after getting diveretd by collections)

i dont want to go to court however I have a mitigating circumstance which I want to present. police woudl have reaady access to it and i m not lying. i m under mental health counselling for soem persoal reasosn including a racial attack and an unsucessful attempt of stabbing me by some one due to my racial origin, there is a case logged in formally and i have helped police to track down this woman attacker, but police cudnt track her, i have seen thsi woman on number of occasions and i saw her before the incident which made me loose my mind completely and i dont knw how I committed that stupidity. dunno if they can consider this as a mitigating circumstance i can back it up through my GP giving me a written proof of mental health counselling

it is from strathclyde police mentions teh record being on criminal history system for 2 years and teh bottom of the letter says 'adult warning doc' official/: (ref no on top of the letter)

Hello All I am back here I have received a letter in post from police (as the police guy whom i met on that dreadful day of my sheer stupidity said) the letter states the incident (not in details) mentions my name and dob and date and place of incident then it goes as under (i m typing the exact letter) there is sufficient evidence to justify submission of a report to procurator fiscal however the police has used descretion and will not report this matter, should any similar report is received in future, the matter would be reported for consideration of procurator fiscal for prosecution THIS WARNING WILL BE RECORDED ON POLICE SERVICES AUTHORITY CRIMINAL HISTORY SYSTEM AND WILL REMAIN IN DATABASE FOR A PERIOD OF 2 YEARS DURING WHICH IT WILL BE AVAILABLE TO ALL POLICE FORCES thats the most scary bit as i don't know what it means should you wish to challenge this warning please intimate your decision in writing within 28 days of this letter. the circumstances wud be then reviewed and this may lead to a report being prepared and forwardded to procurator fiscal who will thereafter give consideration to any further action considered appropriate I am scared to death now. The thing which is bothering me is 1) is that letter (or meeting cops on incident) means official warning 2) if yes what is the status spent unspent conviction ?? 3) now if i fill any application that wants me to confirm a criminal record, do i have to tick yes (oh i wud kill myself for this) 4) I would soon need a police clearnace certificate as I would be leaving UK soon, wud that show up on the Police certifciate that i have a spot on my history 5) is it a part of CRB now? Please suggest what should I do

hello wkd blue, santander administer these store cards and hence cannot control the charges and the fees levied. pls contact the burton number on th back of ur card as santander wudnt do anything about these charges except th late payment ( which u obviously never had) hope it helps tc

helo Becky thanks for ur reply. i think the same to be honest they called me and then looked on my file again i think and then rejected me, as i was persistent to knw the reason so as to get rid of me he siad the reason. I m not on benefits i work full time and being on visa dsnt qualifies me for any social support. can i challenge company that they never told in their advert that they cannot sponsor some one, i think th company just wanted to soar teh number o applicants so as to release status of teh competitiveness
