  1. there is nothing I can do? The company acting on behalf of the council told me that nothing is owed to the council now, and from my understanding the costs are soley owed to wilkin chapman grange.
  2. I hope someone can advise? Last year I owed on my council tax, [2011] In December I received a notice informing me of pending bankruptcy & a hearing date for the outstanding council tax plus costs. I tried to make monthly payments but they were nearly £400, as the outstanding amount was over £2000, there was no way I wanted to be made bankrupt over council tax, and fortunately family lent me the money to reduce the debt to under £700. The company dealing with it on behalf of the council is wilkin chapman grange, I spoke to them and informed them that as the debt was now under £700 could they ask to have the bankruptcy petition dismissed, after numerous emails back and forth, they did this, and I received a letter informing me that the court has ordered that the bankruptcy petition had been dismissed. Which I was so relieved at. Now I have a letter from wilkin chapman grange informing me that I owe £1,945.55 in costs to them. This is just never ending and I dont know what to do? This years council tax is being paid via direct debit and i am not in any debt to the council at all now. I hope someone can help?

  7. Thank you for your help & advice, the mortgages are with 2 different companies. Kensington & Mortgage Buisness, also my present mortgage is with Platform mortgages and I have discovered they have been adding a buildings insurance to my account, and other excessive fees, can I claim from them even though they are my current provider? Sorry for all the questions.

  10. Hi, the loan was fully repaid, they charged a redemption fee, redemption interest, plus interest on top of that, if that makes sense. I have found some paper work, but there is no mention of PPI. I came across this as I want to claim back on 2 mortgages.

  13. Hi, I hope someone can advise please, I had a littlewoods account, but unfortunately lost my job, and therefore due to circumstance I ended up in debt with them. They have handed the account over to Philip Cohen Associates, who are calling constantly. I have had corresponded with them once via email. I accept that I do owe them money for the debt, but there seems to be unbelievable charges.ou Could some one advise as to what to do next,as I really want to get this sorted out. Thank you
  14. Hi, I hope someone can advise, I stupidly went with a PPI reclaim company, to reclaim from Natwest. Natwest contacted the company to say I didnt take out PPi cover on my Credit Cards, I know for a fact that I did have PPI, the company stated if they hadn't heard from me within a certain time they would close the claim. I let the time go as I know I can claim my self. Can I still go ahead with this myself and how do I go about it? The other problem is I havent any paperwork anymore. Thank you
  15. Thank you for your advice. I would also like to add, that at no time have I written a letter of notice and have never received any letters from the school regarding my employment. I will copy & paste again so it can be read clearly. Hi, I hope maybe I can get some advice, I'm not sure if there is anything I can do, but I thought I would ask. I started working in a school just over 2 years ago as a teaching assistant, all seemed to be going well, I was regularly given lots of praise from senior management, as I went to the school with lots of previous experience. Unfortunately 6mnths into the job my daughter was having terrible problems at school, she was being bullied & affected her terribly & her health started to suffer that she was under the doctor, I was absolutely worried sick, I went to the Headteacher at the school I was working & she suggested I take time off untill January, which I did, this was obviously without pay, also whilst all the problems were going on with my daughter my num developed breast cancer, & i am an only child so had to try to juggle my time to be there. I went back to work in the January, & was advised by the head that I should start back on reduced hours & faze my self in, which I went along with, this lasted untill untill July when we broke up for the summer, the head came to speak to me & said that I could only work 2days per week & job share with someone, at no time did I get any thing in writing from the school to say they had changed my working hours, to be perfectly honest I didnt argue with them on it, as I had so much going on. I went back in September starting on the 2 days per week, then the problems started with my pay, I wasnt getting the correct amount, when I went & asked why this was, I was told that I was only getting paid for the actual hours I work with no sick pay or pay in the holidays, at no time was this ever agreed & all done with out my knowledge, or in writing I challenged this as I had months where I had no pay & some months with wrong pay, I said if I am Job sharing then surley my pay & rights should be the same as the person I m job sharing with, I was told by finance that the head had told them to put me on timesheets, again I had no knowledge of this & so because I hadnt completed timesheets I didnt get paid, considering when I started at the school I was on a permanent contract, with a regular salary every month & I assumed this would be the same even if my hours had been reduced, which was basically forced upon me. Any way basicaly after a while the agreed to put me back on a salary. But since then I had to request time off, for special circumstances which they didnt want to grant, so they suggested that I become a cover worker, or if I didnt I would face disciplinary action for taking the leave, so out of panic I agreed. They called me to a meeting while I was working & said this to me without any prior warning, & wanted an immediate descision. They promised I would be called for regular cover work, as I said I cant be with out any money. They called me for one week & I havent heard since. I have sent numerous emails to the head asking why I hadnt been called, as promised, these were ignored untill eventually she answered saying the most ridiculous thing, "that she wasnt aware I was part time & really they need full time cover". But she was the one who put me on part time. I replied that I am available for cover at any time, as I demonstrated that first week of cover. I feel this has been a big set up just to get rid of me & they have played on me when I have been down. They replaced me immediately. I havent had one single letter from the school explaining any of the above or to say im no longer working there. Sorry it is so long winded, I hope someone can advise or help. Thank you

  21. Ok thank you, I will have a look to see if I have any, I thought it was strange they only put the months with the listed charges. Once i find the date and enter it will that spreadsheet be ready to print & send off? alsowhat covering letter should I send with the spreadsheet? Thank you

Thank you, have started entering all the info, just one question, when Natwest sent the charges they didnt put actual dates just the amounts for a month and what the charge was for eg 12.00 late fee Jan2006 & so on, when i put the months in on the spreadsheet it starts from the 1st of the month, for every new month, is that ok? sorry to sound thick. thank you
  23. Hi I have just read through, this thread and cant believe exactly the same thing has happened to me, & on the same date in Turkey. Mine was with my Iphone & the amount was £900. I was literally in turkey over night, I also switched off Data Roaming & the hotel I stayed in had free wifi. I only knew about the amount, because I couldnt make or receive calls, but at no time did Tmobile contact me or send a txt , when I called them asking why I couldnt use my pnone, because as far as I was aware I had no outstanding bills, it was then that they informed me of the £900, I couldnt believe it, they said they required immediate payment & wouldnt accept anything I was saying, I was insisting I had my Data Roaming Switched off, but the reply from them was, if I didnt pay, my phone would be out of use. I was actually in another country by now, & needed my phone even if for emergencies, so I had to pay. In hindsight maybe I shouldnt have. As soon as I returned home I contacted Tmobile, they havent offered any reason for the charges apart from maybeyou clicked an application and turned it back on?l Not very likely. They admitted this had happened only in Turkey, They have offered a 25% reduction and just because I had called them, I also really need to make a formal complaint. Help & advice of how to go about this would be grateful. Thank you
