Finally they came and I have worked out my charges prelim in the post tomorrow!!

Does it charge when you apply for judgement - not quiet sure of what happens now and the jargon is confusing me. It looks like in other threads that natwest always miss the dealine for defence anyway!!??

Appling for judgement online today - yesterday was deadline for deffence none received.

So the 28 days is now nearly up Wednesday - they ahve not responded. What happens then do we win by default?

OH got a letter this am offering full amount of claim plus the court cost to prevent court action. I need to signed the form and accept and I assume I need to cancel the court thing too. Phew!

So I got a letter the other day saying I should have may statemenst by 5th October - that is way off 40 days??? Can I do anything or just wait?

got a letter from court with thing from natwest to say they will be defending the whole claim. They have 28 days to file a response is this normal?

I am waiting until they asK for it. i have never gotto this stage with others before hsbc gave in at LBA stage. Good luck!

yes there is a standard letter - if you read through the FAQ section at the top this will explain everything after that you will find the templates for the letter you need in the bank templates library. HTH if you are confused or stuc then jsut ask

OH has had a letter from the courts sayingthat Captial one will be deffending the claima nd they now have 28 days to put in a defence .... gulp gulp

I will be sending my DPA request off tomorrow for my Accucard that has now been changed to Lloyds TSB card - not sure how much it wil lbe if anything but it all helps.

Sorry... So I have just done a MCOL for OH's account - do I need to PM anything to bankfolder or do I wait until it is allocated or someting? Its all exciting Ii am looking at other accounts to tackle over the weekend

I am helping a friend do his claim against the NatWest and we have passed the lba stage and coming up to the mcol stage - he has just pointed out that he used this account as his business account ........ Help not sure what to do now do we do the MCOL as normal or have the steps we have already taken been done completely wrong and we will have to start again. Any help muchly appreciated.

They just confused me coming back and asking me that when I had already asked them if you now what I mean!! I have asked them to debit my account with the £10. i find their secure message bit slow so might go back to letter form when I send the prelim off.

yes you can still claim - I claimed back from a closed account with capital one and the paid up after the prelim!! Good luck
