Mines the same three of every account that's been settled or not and one default has been trebled .three lots of same dates three same defaults .it shows iv had sixty odd accounts ???

Thanks BB am I right in saying if HFC or BOS supplied a recon they could process info on your CRA as they stated in wrighting they can't supply a recon capquest can't do it because there is no contract available ? Thanks maxedout but hopfully getting there .

Thanks DX took out cc with HFC in 2004 sent for cca recived applicaion and letter stating they couldnt supply a recon. All marbles credit cards sold to BOS they couldnt supply a recon only current terms and conditions stopped payments about 18 mths ago.Account now sold to capquest .I told them account in dispute ,they said would investigate. Default from BOS has gone off CRA and now capquest has a default against me on there 2 infact for same account and they have now added 200 to the balance they bought . If i chase the PPI reclaim from original lender will this reset S/B clock. Thanks maxedout.

Have had the questionaire from FOS if i try and reclaim this ppi that was originaly payed to HFC then account sold to BOS then had NOA that capquest now own it would the statue barred clock start ticking again or would it remain the same as when i last made a payment and last acknowledged the debt to BOS. The other thing is that BOS showed a default on my CRF then it went away and now its back but being defaulted by capquest but a few hundred heavier while im still waiting a reply as the stated in a previous letter they had bought the debt in goodfaith and hadnt realised there was a dispute with BOS and that they would investigate it. In the mean time they have done this.

Its been sold original card issued by hfc paid ppi to them they sold all marbles cards to halifax both hfc and halifax ave said no recon .stopped paying halifax they passed to few dcas then had N of A saying capquest now own it. Thanks maxedout

If its been stated by letter they can't supply a Recon aggreenent and you have stopped making payments how do you fare trying to reclaim PPI on the 'agreement' thanks maxedout

Its always a cushion to bounce ideas and thoughts off one and other as I'm sure we have all done and will do and not just on CAG .Nothing has got to be hard and fast. Yes facts count but I'm sure we all started with no idea. Does that make sense .thanks maxedout.

This may sound a bit dim but i wonder if the larger the debt the lower the % of F/F they would accept.Would they rather 10% of 10 grand than say 50% of a grand.thanks maxedout

Thanks for your replys. What i cant get my head around is if the debt isnt bought why do they bother with notice of assignment. One of mine has been chased by 3 DCAs but have recived one notice of assignment from the original lender stating the last DCA had bought it and a letter off this DCA saying they had bought it.thanks maxedout

To nip it in the bud and to save futher agrro from any more DCAs phoning work letters to house etc. Plus there could be a chance if it went to court the DJ could find in they favour. thanks maxedout

Does any one think it would be worth while putting in a full and final letter to a DCA that if the agreement was at all enforcable they would not be dealing with the account.So it would be in they interest accepting your offer rather than sell it on and get zero.thanks maxedout.

When you offer a Full and Final to a DCA would it be worth putting in your letter the history of the account .eg. that it has been pushed around three or four DCAs to show that none of them could collect and maybe force thier arm to accept your offer rather than resell it and get nothing. thanks maxedout.

After having a few letters off Albion and ignoring them i have not had anything directly from Halifax after accepting the U/R but today recived a letter off Power 2 Connect saying as the Halifax had lost conntact with me they will call to my home to help rebuild my relationship with Halifax (LOL ) if they do not hear from me within 3 days.Is there a letter i could send these muppets to stop them calling and one to the Halifax. If a debt is sold to a DCA and they cannot collect why would the original creditor take it back or how could the DCA pass it back you would think once the original creditor got shot of it that would be the end of it as far as they were conserned and it would be to bad on the DCA for buying it .Would someone be able to explain thanks maxedout
