bought a chiller van on e bay merc sprinter.stated it was smoking sold as spares or repairs .told it could cost a fortune with mercs sprinter major problem with injectors .cost over a thousand pound plus a couple of hundred in fuel getting them back 800 mile round trip.m o t expires end of this month .told it wont pass mot with all the smoke coming out of the rear of van .emissions test will cost a mint .also on checking some serious advisorys from previous m o t need to be looked at .mechanic reckons it could be a costly job .any ideas were we stand on this matter likeley this van may never got on the road again not sure .

IN APRIL 2009 I WAS UNABLE TO PAY MY COUNCIL TAX BILL .SO I WROTE AND TOLD THEM . SOME TIME LATER SENT ME HOUSING BENEFIT FORM WHILST AS A SELF EMPLOYED PERSON I HAD TO PROVE SO MUCH IT TOOK MONTHS .WHILS I WAS DOING THIS TRYING TO GET IT SORTED SUPPLYING THE FACTS THEY ASKED. COUNCIL GOT A LIABILITY ORDER WITH COSTS ON IT . SO I WAS AWARDED COUNIL TAX BENEFIT .AND A LETTER THIS WEEK SAID IT WAS BACK DATED TO MARCH 2009. JUST GOT A LETTER TODAY SAYING THE BAILIFFS ARE COMING IN AS I HAVE LOST MY RIGHT TO PAY MONTHLY AS I HAVE NOT PAID . SURELY THE COSTS SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN CHARGED OR THE LIABILITY ORDER OBTAINED. WHAT CAN I DO HERE PLEASE THERE JUST TRYING TO SKIN A CAT HERE .

i seem lost here probally lack of brain. hopefully someone might help . im told that my claim does not fall in indesets lap as manufactuers. but i claim under the supply of goods act implied terms against buy as you view who i signed h p agreement with . buy as you view are not helpfull at all wont supply copies of agreement ect. tell me u send ur claim to indeset . wont enter in corrospondence with us at all apart from a letter not spoken to us since day of fire .indest have had washer back and today stated that the investigations complete and are fully satisfied that there was no external interference on the washer so investigations complete and closed .what does this mean liability is who . do we have an admission of liability from indeset. buy as you view have decided that since this news they now require a copy of the fire report . indest refused such report as it was not telling u the cause of the fire. i think that buy as you view are time wasting . the kitchen was damaged work tops and also work units on other side of kitchen .window double glazed scorched.also complete re clean plus a complete redecoration of the kitchen . the problem i do have is the builder cant get the units or work surface to match the rest that are undamaged . he suggests it will need a full replacement kitchen .also said water from hose pipes firemen may have damaged other units any way as they are chip board and absorb water so may be damaged anyway . can i claim this or what?? a dryer was damaged by fire .also various items kettle . deep fat fryer .clothes in the washer .plus other items . also can we claim compensation on top of this .right confusing dont know what to do not a legal person need advice in what to do . any help advice will do buy as you view not helpfull at all . indeset not really bothered about it at all . but im living in squaller .also buildings insurance but no contents cover incident 1 july 2009

as u may be aware washer caught fire damaged kitchen ect. indeset have asked for the claim to be sent to them but are not accepting liability.what is the basis of the claim .repair and decoration to kitchen area.clothes in washer damaged also the dryer badly damaged and dangerous .how do i set out this claim .do i need to include compesation for our suffering ect .but god knows how i go about it .advice needed please.

yes kraken i have contacted them buildings insurers .asked why i had not reported such a serious matter when incident occured .going to get some one to contact me on monday she said i might be in a breach of my policy re the delay in informing the insurers .also thought i was covered with contents on same policy no im only covered for the buildings part so i have no contents insurance ,no legal cover on buildings policy 300.00 excess payment .it gets better dosent it .

the finance co who sold me the washer rang me up today and said the washer must go back to indeset for futher investigation.im worried here wether the finance company and indeset have got there heads together in a plot to get out of this mess.loose the washer or something sinster like this .please advise asp there coming on tuesday to pick this up from my home .no side accepting liability on this matter
