well done LP that's great news. I'm just trying to calculate my first PPI reclaim from Egg - with the invaluable assistance of PF!

Hi SCC I think that your card number appears on the Default Notice in post 9 best regards S

hi Tiler we're all clever with hindsight so leave the wall alone and protect your head! I wish that I had some experience to advise you but I don't but at least you'll go to the top of the queue again and will hopefully get some help soon regards S
-
and just another thought.. did you put the original quote in writing so that you can evidence that your client chose the cheaper option and do you normally offer guarantees with your work and are these in writing? not sure if this helps at all S
-
hi Paul got no experience in this matter but a simple question - did you put your caveat in writing? ie have you got proof that you told her of the possible/probable performance issues? regards S

hi it's a loan and according to their screen shots re my account they stopped accruing interest 9 months ago (a few weeks prior to issuing a court claim) and the interest rate on the account is 0 % from that date I'm interested as I'm trying to make sense of the balance they are claiming and its not easy. They have provided a spreadsheet that shows interest accrued to a random date during the past few months and a PPI rebate upto another random date but neither date has any significance that I can see. oh dear my head hurts

hello again that didn't take long (good advice Spam) the terms and conditions state '..... Any such interest will be calculated on a daily basis from the date the amount falls due for payment until it is received and will accrue both before and after any court order payment.' so does that mean, in theory, that they could continue to add interest until the whole balance of the account, including interest, is received or unless a court orders otherwise? regards S

morning Spam do you know - I didn't think of reading the terms and conditions! I'll do that now and see if it says anything at all regarding this. wish me luck cos it's pages and pages and ..... although I probably only need to read the bit about ending the agreement I'll let you know what I find S

good morning I've only just read this thread so things have probably moved on since te last post on 24th August I can't comment on the enforceability of the agreement but it appears to me that the numbers are correct. The cash price of the vehicle was £5430.00 The total charges are £3996.88 The total cost was £9426 as stated There were to be 48 payments of £175.56 = £8426.88 plus deposit £1000 total to be paid £9426.88 regards

Hi Spam that's what I thought but I've got a terminated agreement where interest has been added for a further period (and added 3 months after court claim was issued) so I'd like to have a definite 'this is when they are no longer entitled to claim..' regards S
-
hello again maybe it's not such a simple question then. I'll check again in the morning good night all

good evening PF many thanks for your advice I spent a while creating a spreadsheet then realised that I should use the calculation spreadsheet from the forum. Started on that but must be doing something wrong as the numbers don't seem anything like another post I saw earlier today. It doesn't seem to be accruing interest beyond the month of the charge (unless I'm completely misunderstanding the numbers ) any suggestions on how I can check it would be appreciated best regards Sunshine

good evening all a very quick and simple question I believe At what point in proceedings must a lender stop adding interest to an account that has been defaulted then a Court Claim started? I KNOW that this information is somewhere on this forum but just can't find it. thanks in advance for your response (whoever you are ) Sunshine

Sunshine54 replied to Sunshine54's topic in Financial Legal Issues
hi Magda nice to hear from you (should have known you'd come to the rescue lol) When I put in the SAR I quoted 2 specific loan agreement numbers but they sent partial details for three credit cards too. Do I need to send another request and £10 to ask for everything they have on me as a customer? many thanks S -
Egg - County Court Summons - could anyone help please?
Sunshine54 replied to Sunshine54's topic in Financial Legal Issues
hello I've got a question re documentation and information requests that I've made. I received a stack of paperwork from Egg under a SAR but it's not complete. Because of the court proceedings the request for that info has been subsumed into the requests for info under 31.14 any advice gratefully received S
