Hello Anney 63 I took this card in 2005 Update I have received yet another letter from Triton saying "In your recent letter you have stated that you have no income and this is why you have not listed this in your financial statement. If this is the case, we require you to explain how you cover any essential monthly expenditures and how you are able to offer a monthly repayment of £xx This information should be received in our office within 14 days." I have a Business and pay from the cashflow as it comes in maybe they will except nothing then . I have to say they have been at me to pay them for months and each time I offer a token payment they keep asking for I/E which I have sent and then I sent my Buisness accounts what more can i do . Am writting to them yet again explain this is what i can afford and am enclosing a P/O with the letter . THANKS FOR LOOKING IN Tonks

Hello all Just to say that B/C have paid every penny I asked for with interest :):):) UNFORTUNATLY for me wont see any of it, however its brought the debt down and now for the PPI I would like to say a very big thank you to Slick and all the other CAGGERS who have helped me to get back what was mine . Hi Slick Yes i have proof of them getting the SAR however I sent all account nos on one SAR , they sent back only figures ect for the c/cards excluding the Business account and the loan they did say that on this occasion they would not charge me and sometime later returned the P/O. I may write to them and request that they send me all statements from all accounts and not just figures that made no sense to anyone only thing is they have now sold them all on does this make a differance to my being able to get them to comply Thanks for our time Tonks

Hi Slick My thoughts are that although I have sent MBNA & Equidebt SAR none has returned any details for this loan , it seems like maybe they are trying to cover their rear ends The CCA has been looked at and another thread was started by BRW:) to cover the topic of dates signed before mine ect, because MBNA sold it on and its now on hold with Equidebt the thread has been quite for a long time , I know there are charges and PPI to come back but have never had any details from anyone to get me going on it. Do I just sit tight and wait for the next Default , have filed the PPI letter as you so rightly suggested:p funny thing thou Barclays have sent me nearly the same letter for my loan with them :-? Hello all Update for this one Have received a letter from MBNA Insurance Services Dept " As a former MBNA loan customer, we are writing to you as part of our on going commitment to provide the highest standards of customer service. When we arranged your MBNA loan you may recall that you chose to purchase optional Payment Protection cover, underwritten by St Andrews group, to protect your monthly payments. your insurance policy document stated that your cover woul cease when a monthly repayment remained unpaid by you for a period of four months after it was due, or if the right to receive your loan repayments was transferred to a third party. We are pleased to confirm that, in fact, even though you are more than four months behind with your payments and your loan repayments have been transferred to a third party, your cover will not cease until: the earliest of the following dates: the date of your death;or for Accident and Sickness Insurance, Unemployment Insurance or Carer Cover Insurance the date you reach the age of 65 or you premanently retire from work blah blah this Insurance is cancelled by you. If you have a claim event that you need to advise us of you should call St Andrews Group on xxxx if you would like to discuss the change to the policy in more detail please write to us " Dont know what this is about cant claim as am Selfemployed , I did send a SAR to Equidebt and got a load of nothing back it didnt even mention the loan and no details , also sent cca to Equidebt which has not come back either the account is now on hold .   9. Hello all Update for this one Have sent so many letters with offers of token payments to these people , have sent I/E Business Accounts lists of all the Creditors with their offers confirmed . Now have received a letter from Green & Co Solicitors to say that they will be taking me to court if i dont respond to Triton. How many times do i have to say I have a Business and dont have any Income from it , they have now sent their own Budget sheet for me to fill out . Will be sending it back to them with the same info as they have already got three times before . Thanks for looking in Tonks:)

Hello all Thanks Bookworm &Slick :) Have received two letters this morning one from RMA which is the third identical letter from them in as many weeks:cool: The other from NCO : without prejudce We have reveiwed your account and we would like to assist you in repaying your outstanding balance. This means that we can help you, on a concessionary basis, by accepting two equal instalment payments as a FINAL SETTLEMENT of nothing in this bit at all ) The Balance Owing . If you would like to discuss this offer please contact Mr XX Immediately. Once both payments have been received, Barclays Bank will update your account to confirm that the debt has been repaid; thiswill mean that Barclays Bank will not require you to make any further payments to this account. As the amount would be less than the full outstanding balance your credit file will be updated to show your balance as satisfied with a special flag of partial settlement. PLEASE enclose the tear off slip below to ensure payment is credited to your account. then there is two payment slips 1st payment 2nd payment . PITY THEY DIDNT TELL ME WHAT THE FINAL SETTELMENT IS:-?   11. Hello all Another Update Had letter again today from S.C. Leatham- Locke LL.B " We refer to the above matter which concerns your outstanding account with Barclays . Despite repeated requests for settlement, you have failed to address the matter to our clients satisfaction. We hereby inform you that we have today reviewed a detailed history of your account and it is our intention to recommend to our clients that they prepare the necessary papers for the issue of legal proceedings. Unless we receive full payment of the outstanding balance within 72 hours, we will have no alternative but to proceed with this recommendation. To discuss this matter call Mr xx on >>>> before the 72 hour period has elapsed. Please qoute your referance no with payment" What next Will keep u posted Thanks for looking in Tonks:)

  13. Hello all Update Had the letter from S.C. Leatham-Lock LL.B as promised by NCO. The address for them is the same as NCo RMA ect . Rma have called three times today will now send the letter as advised by Slick Also doing the reject letter for the charges . Been really busy here,and it was my twins 21st birthday on Sat so need to catch up with my Cag work;) Thanks for looking in Tonks:)

  15. Hello all Guess what have had a reply from B/C "I am sorry you feel the charges you have incurred are unfair. We believe that our charges are both fair and tranparent, and we make them clear in our terms and conditions,and on the reverse of every monthly statement . In your correspondence you have outlined a legal argument which you say supports your view. As I am sure you will appreciate B/C is aware of all the information you have drawn to our attention. I must inform you however, that we disagree with your legal analysis. Putting the above to one side, as a gesture of goodwill and without any admission of liability, I am prepared to credit your account with the differance between the charges that you have incurred and the current £12.00 fee. this would amount to £72.00, plus 8% interest. The agency responsible for your account has been notified and your account balance will be amended accordingly." It goes on about the FOS ect This letter is dated the 10th Oct I got it today the 23rd Well Im not going to except that amount will find the letter thanks but no thanks . Hi all Update Re Default issued from MBNA which i thought was not mine , have received a reply by return almost it goes like this : "Dear Tonka In your letter you advised that you dispute the debt outstanding on your account ( No i said that i dont know of any account with you with that account No) I enclose copies of your statements from NOV 07-March08 In addition, I have also enclosed a copy of your original application for the credit card signed by you. From a reveiw of the notes on your account, I cannot find any record of you contacting us at any time to dispute this debt. It is the customers responsibilitly to check their statements each month and notify us immediately if they dispute any of the information contained in those statements. We have sent statements to you each month at the above address. It is possiable that the debt will be passed on to a third party for recovery. I can only reiterate that the debt is not in dispute. We have now exhausted our complaint process;therefore i must inform you that this is our final response on the matter. If you remain dissatisfied with this response you may refer your complaint to the FOS with in six months of the date of this letter " Well this works out to be my AOL account shall post further updates on it . Q If a Default came and you do not know the account no and as I have done write and ask them to prove that the debt is mine will that change the dates on the Default as it is due to take effect on Tuesday Thanks for looking in Tonks

Hello all Update for this one Had another letter today from NCO "Dear Tonka As you have failed to fully resolve this account we are left with no alternative but to pass your file and the full history of this account to the office of S.C.Letham-Locke LLB They will be instructed to perpare a full overveiw of your account, taking into consideration conduct to date and recommend their next course of action to our client. This may be commencement of legal action or that they recommend employing the assistance of their field force. This will be initated without further notice to yourself. Should you wish to avoid this action please contact MR R and register your intention to resolve the matter on a voluntary basis. We may still be able to help" On this letter it says Client Barclays so they have not sold it on I would like a mother of all letters to stop all this any takers Also had three calls from NCO and four calls from RMA each day for the last fortnight .   24. Hi Slick & Maz Question this default from Arrow is not the same one from MBNA I do not owe either of these debts the amounts are not enough:eek: I wonder if sending Arrow the copy of reply from MBNA will confuse Arrow it sure has confused me:-?:-?:-?:-? Tonks:)
