suddenly! a spark! this is awesome dudes - and the wheels are turning in that AT LEAST lawmakers can see that there is a problem which goes against the grain of doing things right - although labour seemed to ignore the question completely - loved the Lucas : "I thank the noble Lord for that rather unsatisfactory Answer" - this is what I have had ALL along with the council, the bailiff, the police and the courts. No more unsatisfactory answers from anyone please - it makes you all look stupid and not fit for purpose!!!!! You can hear the initial cold, ignorant perhaps arrogant stance of Lord Bach, but he does say "However, I have asked my officials urgently to obtain comprehensive advice on the legal position" - where will this be published? I love the "I am disappointed that the noble Lord is disappointed" Please note that I am also disappointed that the noble Lord is disappointed, but more so dissapointed that the Lords are not taking swifter action at a time it is needed most. Recession is now. The dodgy bailiffs continue to operate on the streets everyday threatening to climb thru people's windows for parking tickets and the like with the full support of councils, police and courts. conservatives get my vote so far! but, i am still fed up thanks tomtubby, why do i feel that you are the most important person here and now that should be the one leading this debate in the house of lords explaining to them just exactly what the councils and courts and bailiffs get up to... with evidence and fact and Noble disappointment all around!

it's "a profession built on fear and intimidation" the police could be said to be a bit like that in the past - but the ipcc made it all fairer - and the police name got much much better we need an ibcc - at the very very minimum £100 an hour is cheap! £350ph is the going rate i believe - at newlyns

and so says a powerless third party ! you're only saying that because of your sole motive in all of this... money - someone elses at that.... it's not your money, it's not your property hmmmm. but do you still agree to take all that stuff for an unpaid parking ticket - and climb thru windows if need be? btw: your opinion is wholly irrelevant to my comment as you really have no say on the matter no wonder no one likes you guys and the reason why this site rocks an unnecessary profession for today and tomorrows world see: Medieval Occupations In the future... history lessons may say... a long long time ago.... the court jester made people laugh the court bailiff made people cry but society realised these were medievel and evil evil and in 2010 the [X] party won the general election and abolished these cry makers - into history i think baliff's have it easy... especially if legislation is changed and the gov get's 21C decent bailiff's will lose their jobs they may lose their homes luckily for them there won't be anyone to harass in their homes them like bailiffs do to us today... lucky for them, but a small price to pay i think the best carrot and stick - and perhaps most moral to get 'paid' in 21C is to [deleted]

internet is a necessity for me - and millions and billions of people around the world i will not sit in a cold room with a blanket and candle and say this is good enough for me - and this is all i need in my life- during the blitz for sure... but not in 21st century I have lots of respect for lots and lots of people but your comment, that i should have some respect in truth bears the mark of a society that i don't really want to... bicker Materialistic? You seem to suggest that i am not in need? and should not be on cag? and i sense you took offence to something i said - please do let me know, alas, I hope that was not referring to me but it seems i may have bonnetted a bee if i am that, remaining tongue in cheek, and in spirit de cag, you are a cold wet feesh

hey - i just read up yesterdays posts - wow - good conversation sorry if i offended anyone by rolloking anyone - i blame joncris - he used that term before and it seems quite apt in many places on the net as for your Q: (PS Hazza, why is it OK for a tenant to "take possession" of a property until a debt is repaid, but not for a baliff to do this with other property? I dont think I even need to say that there is no basis in law whatsoever to follow the process you outlined above - you would be rapidly evicted) simples! the tenant is party - the bailiff is a 3rd party i know there is no basis in current law!!! - that's what we are discussing aren't we? hypothetical and hyperpathetical theories.... in fact it is what you asked isn't it? viable alternatives to the current system!

simples! enforcement should be the exception - not the rule a bailiff should not be allowed to attend an address until absolute last resort - e.g. after a debt counsellor with spreadsheet is turned away and a judge has agreed that bailiff is only way forward, hey why not even have the judge phone the alleged debtor - hey mister, i'm aboiut to send a bauiliff to your address - any reason whatsoever why i shouldn't? much time and money saved? the rule is to enforce first and deal with exceptions via form 4's after nein nein nein should be other way around anyway, i think cag users should start an ethical bailiff company and show what cag can do - then takeover all other bailiff companies

write to the owner sending a copy of the court order stating that you will hold him responsible for the damage as the agent, is just that, his agent - like the bailiff is an agent of the council - if the owner does not respond, then seek damages due to as his agent failed to deliver xyz? sod it... give me their address and i will utopia them up!
-
simples! the landlord is not a consumer he obviously has assets by not fixing he put his own property and assets in jeapordy by not paying damages he is putting his assets at risk so, if i were you, claim that the house is yours (freehold) until thehe pays damages - assuming you are still there! sm....i would not bite anyone's head off - but if i find a post absurd i may post an absurd reply if i've had a beer!

You really are putting yourself in line with statements like that... please explain your theory in more detail. I think if orgs could not send someone to someone's home to intimidate and take by theft, they would just be a bit more cautious in their lending. We will always have utility companies - even if it's a bloke helping people at a communal well no one is asking you to do that - we as a society need to remove the last shackles of a medievel world - bailiffs!!! rollocks again - non payment of debt is never theft. Bailiff action for incorrect debt IS theft - by deception?
-
TOTAL ABSOLUTE ROLLOCKS AGAIN!!!! (nothing personal i assure you!) I am not talking tax ere - i am talking consumer debt and dodgy parking tickets - but if you ask me, we could be living in an much more ethical society where tax is an option - not a punishable offence - and the lights would not go out Okay, i haven't read many of your posts but i sense you are in the 'industry' have you ever been visited by a trainee bailiff ? are you the type of person that agrees with council's etc using RIPA too? financial matters are not for a bailiff ever - them too dumb - they can't even add up! financial matters are for someone with a qualification- and a spreadsheet - to help get out, bailiff's operate cloak and dagger, stalking, following anpr etc - no more ever i pray!
