Received letter from Barclaycard: "I write further to your letter dated 27th August 2007 which we received in our office 4th October(total rubbish Mercers signed for it on the 29th August 2007) requesting information regarding your Barclaycard account under the Consumer Credit Act 1974. In order for us to disclose information and to continue processing your request we will require your signed authorisation. As soon as we receive this information your request will be given our immediate attention. Yours Sincerely Barclaycard Seems to me that they just want my signature!
  2. Now received 2 letters from DLC. The first one reads: Please accept this letter as notification that this agreement has been assigned to us. It is essential all future payments are made directly to us. You must let us have your immediate proposals for payment of the oustanding balance. The second one reads:We are disappointed to note that you have failed to respond to our earlier letter. This situation is inacceptable and cannot be allowed to continue. I presume that I now need to CCA them and not Blackhorse. Blackhorse have still not responded to my original request
  3. Well still no letters from DLC but plenty of phone calls. They have rang me Saturday, Sunday and today. Each time I said I am not prepared to talk to them on the phone and especially when I haven't received anything in writing. Their response to this was well we have sent you 2 letters recently you must have received them!

  5. Just been looking through the agreement that HFC sent me the other week and I have noticed that there signature isn't on it. Doesn't there's have to be on it as well. Maybe they haven't sent me that page??? Any thoughts...
  6. One other thing, why have Blackhorse completely ignored my CCA request and past account over to a DCA....another dirty trick!!
  7. Thanks Sequenci. Just realised, I received a text message the other day saying, URGENT, Please contact HSL on xxxxx quoting ref xxxxx, its the same number. Surely they can't just text & ring without writing in the first place....
  8. Update.....I haven't had any response from Blackhorse until today. Received a telephone call from a company called 'DLC', they told me that my account is no longer with Blackhorse and it is now with them and I have to deal with them. I told her that I had written to Blackhorse and was waiting for a resonse, her reply was well it doesn't make any difference now as the file is with DLC. I put the phone down!! Could do with some advice please...

  14. I just thought that I had to respond to their letter now that they had sent me the information that I requested, even though it was just the original app....
  15. Moorcroft have sent me letter saying that they will hold off any further action until the 15th October.....do I respond to them now and tell them that what they sent me basically is a load of garbage!
