Hi and welcome Fraser, firstly you need to read the FAQs and step by step instructions, also read some threads in the relevant bank forums so you know what to do and when to do it. Then when you are ready start your own thread in that forum so if you need to ask a question you can go back there and check for answers it also acts like a diary for yourself.

contact them and ask where the interest is saying you wont let the courts now the claims settled untill you recieve it ....for some reason they like to withold the s69 interest

Is the account still open?, if so you could email the DPA letter and giving them authority to take the money out of your account

after they have acknowledged your claim they have 28 days to say they will defend it

Firstly can you please keep to the one thread otherwise it gets confusing ...secondly how do you know the Royal Mail have lost your DPA letter?

no they have 28 days to say they will defend, then a further to file their defence ....but 3 weeks after they said they would defend they paid us

Well they said they were going to defend ours and 3 weeks later they paid up
