  1. HI petrafyde, although i am no expert, it sounds pretty good to me, good luck with your claim i hope it goes well,
  2. also this might help getting it together http://www.consumeractiongroup.c o.uk/forum/barclays-bank/29032-help-preparing-court-bundle.html its in the barclays forum but the bundle will be the same

  4. just spoke to a very nice lady at Cardiff Courts with regards to my Court date and not receiving an AQ, and also still not receiving conformation of my amended POC. She confirmed that the hearing is for the Judge to decide the direction of my case and he was also looking at my amended POC today. She also said to have my Court bundle ready for the hearing, so my question is, do i have to inform Cobbetts and the Courts i intend to be there in person and do i have to send them anything regarding the evidence i will produce in Court, ie what i have in my Court bundle
  5. as far as i know you can keep adding charges right up until you file with the courts so would imagine it would be the same with the interest you are claiming
  6. hi neil, thanks for pm, yes its the same letter i received,i am working on your questions as they are the same as mine:) 1 - This is a hearing to see which direction the case will go, right? There won't actually be a ruling? As far as i know YES i think its a case management conference 2 - Shall I prepare my court bundle, just in case? I am just in case 3 - Shall I send it in to the court and/or Cobblers? Not sure, i will get back to you on that one 4 - Is there anything else I should do in preparation? Read other threads and get as much info as poss. http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/mercantile-court-cases-stays/36034-case-management-conference-13th.html its not exact to us but it gives you an idea of what might happen 5 - What's the likelihood of me actually having to go? Are NatWest actually settling before these dates? Not 100% but Natwest seem to be settling before the hearing, but its still worth being prepared just in case If we keep each other informed of our progress we can help each other out also Brenda/Bruce is due in on the same day to so keep an eye on that thread too.
  7. hi smirk, i am also waiting for an AQ, however i received a court date for 26th March without receiving an AQ, from what i can workout from advice and other threads i am going in for a case management conference, which i think is a pre-allocation hearing, the good news is that Natwest seem to pay up before this happens, i will keep you informed of what happens next, not long to go now hopefully:)
  8. thanks for the info Brenda, the only thing that is worrying me, is i haven't received anything from Cobbetts and i haven't received an AQ yet, where as everyone else seems to have had both of these. Ah well i will just keep swotting up and just prepare myself just in case Cobbetts decide to turn up, i don't want to be caught off guard. Also i found this yesterday might be some use to us, http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/mercantile-court-cases-stays/36034-case-management-conference-13th.html?highlight=management+conference there is quite a lot to take in but it may be handy to know, just in case we end up in court:). If i find anything else i will keep you informed
  9. sorry owedloads didn't see the 7 days, my eyes are getting blurry now trying to work my own case out:confused: claire is right the standard timetable is 14 days for the LBA
  10. congrats mr frog:) if only mine was that easy lol.
  11. hi owedloads, welcome to CAG, you just received a standard time waste letter, stick to your timetable, you are the one in charge. good luck and keep us posted:)
  12. can anyone help with my post #33, i spoke to zooman in the chatroom earlier he says it is a case management conference. I have got the court date but i haven't heard a thing from Cobbetts and haven't received an Allocation Questionnaire, so i wondered why the Courts have given me a date. If its a case management conference, firstly what is it and secondly what do i need to prepare myself for it, help on this would be much appreciated or directions to someone's thread who has already done would be great Many thanks
  13. hi steter, you can claim back account charges, just be careful when you work out the AG account charges, remember to subtract the AG fee, if you look in Natties thread it tells you the dates these fees changed, with regards to your interest, see here http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/bank-templates-library/182-6-interest-calculation-spreadsheets.html read the instuctions by Vampiress you should find everything you need, good luck and keep us posted:)
  14. pretty normal, how long ago did you get the offer? have you received any court dates or an AQ yet?
  15. hello again, not sure if its what your looking for but there is a lot of information about Natwest charges and interest, NatWest Charges since 1991 because i didnt claim contractual interest i'm not to clued up about it, as for the 8% you can claim this on your charges only when you file your claim with the courts, it comes under section 69 of The County Courts Act
  16. not sure what interest you are claiming for, when i did my claim, i didn't add contractual interest, i just claimed for the charges and then when i filed my claim with the courts i added the 8% s.69 interest, I used spreadsheet 3b which is pre set to 8%. You only add the 8% when you file the claim with the courts.
  17. hi again people, i got my court date through the other day, its for 26th march at 10:30. it says in my letter, "Upon the Courts own motion. The Court has made this order of its own initiative without a hearing. If you object to the order, you must make an application to have it set aside, varied or stayed within 7 days of recieving it." It is ordered that, Directions will be given in this case by the Designated Civil Judge, his honour J G Hickinbottom, on 26th march 2007 at 10:30 am at Cardiff Civil Justice Centre. The parties may appear in person or make written representations as how the case should proceed provided a copy of the representations is sent to the Court and the other side at least 7 working days prior to the hearing. is this the norm, not sure what it means "without a hearing" and " set it aside, varied or stayed". sorry if that sounds a bit dumb, could do with a bit of help on that one, many thanks in advance
  18. nice one emma:D thats good that you won with 3 accounts together cuz thats what i am doing, to be honest i didn't think it would make much difference cuz they are all unlawfull charges whatever way you look at it
  19. congratulations cally:D :D i love it when natwest pay out, it gives me hope for my claim :D
  20. hi everyone i am after a little bit of help if possible please, i have made a mistake with my list of charges for my poc i have submitted, i forgot to separate the advantage gold charges from the account charges, its not the end of the world because i have another £280 worth of charges to add to it anyway, but can someone point me in the right direction of how to go about ammending my claim, i also beleive it will cost £35 to do is that right?
  21. Things have been a little quiet for a while but i received a letter from the courts yesterday, saying that NatWest filed an acknowledgement of service on 11th jan. with the intention of defending:( i new it was coming but i was kinda hoping they would say "oh go on then you can have your money back" :D not to worry though. I take it i will be receiving something from Cobbetts in the next few days, looking forward to it already:)
  22. i sent mine to their registered address 135 Bishopsgate London EC2M3CR
  23. Hi helen mary, i think i just spoke to you in chatroom, you need to start your own thread as this is someone elses, if you look at the top of the natwest page, you will see a blue box saying start thread, click on that give it a title and then that will become your own, when you need to ask something then you keep with the same thread,
  24. Hi icezebra, for fear of being dragged into an arguement, "As a point of interest, do your employers know you post on here? Are you part of damage control, or CAG's "deep throat"?" seems a bit harsh, As you can see from other peoples threads and the amount of posts, Nattie has helped lots of people on this site, i don't know a lot about Nattie but she does give good advice.
