after some more searching i found the answer to the card misuse question it was in Advantage Gold and Unarranged Borrowing- A guide many thanks natweststaffmember

i have received my s.a.r statements on 3 accounts 8 days after applying for them:) . i've added up the charges which have amounted to £2763 and another £425 for card misuse, so now i am preparing my preliminary approach letter. Should i send that to the same place where i sent my s.a.r to 135 Bishopgate London or to my branch? Also do i add the card misuse to the total or keep them separate?

hello again, i received a letter of acknowledgement from natwest today for my subject access request, only 5 days after sending my letter to them:) "thank you for requesting copy statements held by the bank. Any information that is required to be provided to you under section 7 of the data act will be forwarded to you at the above address as soon as possible. In the meantime we acknowledge receipt of the payment for £10.00 in respect of the fee. Manual Intervention With reference to your request concerning 'manual intervention' to the administrative charges debited, these charges have ben processed in accordance with the terms and conditions of our current agreement with you as a result of activity on your account. In the event that you breach the terms and conditions, we will take the appropriate action, contacting customers when appropriate, or handling customers enquiries regarding their account status. When a customer has raised a concern in relation to this process, the decision will be communicated to the customer and where appropriate noted on the account.
