  1. It is possible that you will not be able to enter judgement until Wednesday, as they do tend to move the day if it would fall on a BH. Give it a try tomorrow, but don't be too concerned if you can't.

  2. Hi everyone, without this site none of us would be anywhere near claiming back the money that the banks have illegally cheated us of. So many members have gained knowledge and received the support needed to make a claim, let alone the many claims that some have made! The cost of maintaining and running a site like this one must be astronomical, let alone the time it must have taken to set up the letter templates, the spreadsheets etc., etc. I for one think it is only fair and correct that the people who have made a successful claim should give back a little something to keep this marvellous website going to help others and, of cou

  5. Hi Yes, send the LBA to the address I sent mine to: Halifax PLC Customer Relations PO Box 548 LEEDS LS1 1WU I have alway received responses from this address well within any time frame. I suggest that you DO NOT call the manager or leave your phone number as they will try and settle for a very minimal amount. It is best to have a paper trail. If they phone tell them you would prefer letters and end the call politely. If you need any help at all, I will be only too happy to advise. I have gone through this motion and I am now waiting for my settlement. Hope this helps, and if it does could you please click

  6. I would send it all to the head office. Stick to your time frame, dont let them fob you off with promises of respnding in 6/8 weeks. There is a sticky at the top of the Halifax forum with addresses that other people have used.

  7. Lorraine if i could just correct you. You will only get an allocation questionaire if the bank puts in a defence, once they do this the case is moved to your local court and they send the allocation questionaire. Moneyclaim will show that they have put in a defence before you get your allocation questionaire.

  9. The reason points remain on your licence for four years is to assist the court system. Points are valid from the date of the offence. So as an example if points were for an offence on the 1/1/03 and you committed another offence on the 26/12/05, points for both offences would be added under the totting up process. However, you may not be convicted of the latter offence till 6/6/06 by which time you could have applied for a replacement licence and had the earlier points removed. Although they remain on your licence for four years, they are only valid for three in the totting up process. Some insurers penalise for points for a
