Hi Today I received a notice to owner from Smart parking ltd for £70 for unauthorised parking on 23/4/2014 I have several problems with this. First of all there was no ticket on my car that day when I returned to my car. Second they state that the discount period has expired although i have had no notice before today. Also I have only received this today no other letters. I have contacted manager at asda who has told me that the parking attendant wasnt there and would speak to them tomorrow and get back to me. .I wont hold my breath. He said they take photos but as I said I had no ticket on my car. Is it possible they put a ticket on my car then took photo and then removed the ticket. I shop in asda everyday as I dont do a weekly shop but I have no receipt as I don't keep receipts for food shopping. My question is how do i tackle this. All help greatly received.
