  1. No the figures are just in black like all the rest. Tried clicking on the charges but nothing happens. Looks like it's another visit to the bank.
  2. Looking on internet banking but can't find a breakdown of charges.
  3. They never give up do they? Recieved a postcard today from Hillesden Securities asking for me to ring them to arrange for one of there representatives to call. Should this be filed with the other stuff?
  4. Got a call from HSBC today regarding loan arrears. Told them I can't make repayments and they offered to restructure the loan. Reduce the payment and take it over a longer term. Told them to shove it. Will wait and see what happens next.
  5. I have asked for a breakdown of charges to go with my statements but HSBC have refused. They say they do not have to supply copies of these. Is this correct?
  6. Recieved statements this morning but have not got a summary of charges. Been into local branch to ask for copies and they tell me only statements have to be provided. I can see from my statements all the charges and also on recent account summaries there is an overdraft fee of £176, account fee of £3 and activity charges of 20p. I am right in thinking I can claim the overdraft fees back?
  7. Received a letter today from DLC thanking me for the letter disputing the outstanding balance. They go on to say that the dispute should be taken up with the Yorkshire Bank, which I already have done. To draw the matter to a close they will accept £133.26 in full and final settlement. The Yorkshire Bank reserves the right to pursue any other borrowers for the remaining balance. They then ask for the remittance by 23/11/07. What,if anything,do I do next? Thanks in advance.
  8. Cheers. Will wait for statements.
  9. Will contact HSBC and ask for full statements. This account is just a personal account.
  10. Thanks for that. Will wait for my statements. I have sent off SAR. Should I ask HSBC to freeze account because it is in dispute or just let it run and claim back the charges. Also should I keep paying into it from the DMP? Regards Tom.
  11. All it says is overdraft fees.
  12. Thanks for that. Have not had statements sent to me only a list of charges. I will stick all charges on my claim.
  13. I have a business account which is still active, overdrawn by £1200,but not being used. Sent of S.A.R - (Subject Access Request) and waiting for reply. Just recieved my statement and there's £176 overdraft fee for the month. What in your opinion is the best way forward with this account. I am in a DMP with CCCS and they are sending £18 per month towards the overdraft but with the charges it's not even making a dent in the balance. Thanks for your time. Tom.
  14. Looked at the "charges description thread" but am still unclear if overdraft fees are reclaimable. These are spread over a period of 18 months and vary from £20 to £100. Can you advise me further. Thanks.
  15. It's just a personal account. Can I claim back all the overdraft fees? Regards Tom
  16. I sent of my SAR last week and recieved separate letters today for each account. They give me a list of charges split into two groups. 1. Overdraft related charges and adjustments. This lists various fees from £20 to £100 for overdraft fees. In total the charges are £465. 2. Other related charges and adjustments. This lists charges for recalled S/O - D/D total £430 My question is can I claim for the overdraft related charges or do I need a further breakdown of charges obtainable from my statements. Thanks in advance.
  17. Been into HSBC today. No joy from them. A very arrogant woman tried to make me feel like something on the bottom of her shoe but she didn't suceed. Rang the Banking Ombudsman and they said HSBC are quite within there rights to default the account and keep charging an extortianate ammount of interest. They said the best thing for me would be for HSBC to sell the loan on to a debt collection agency. I will wait and see what happens next.
  18. Hi Andy. I have emailed CCCS and I will also ring them tomorrow. I have nothing in writing regarding the overdraft. HSBC are calling it "an informal overdraft" what ever that means. The account is a business account but for some reason they are not charging me the standard fees of £8 per day yet. I will see what the CCCS have to say and post there reply on here, and take it from there. Regarding the default. I already have defaults so am not bothered if HSBC issue another one. I will keep you informed to my progress. Regards Tom.
  19. Also they are getting £19 a month to pay towards our overdraft but charging us £25 for returned DD. How can they be acting in our best interest?
  20. They are just taking the £24 from the CCCS. We're overdrawn at the bank so they can't get the money from there but they still try. Regards.
  21. Thanks for the advice so far. Just to clarify things a little. The £24 payment is coming from the CCCS. The £55 DD is being taken from my overdrawn HSBC account. There's no money in the account so they bounce it and charge me for doing it!
