  1. Okay thanks Sarah- shall send YB data request to branch and Abbey request to Data Protection Manager. Fran
  2. Hi thanks for your reply. The reason I have the Glasgow address is because in the tutorial about the whole process to follow a link takes you to a data protection search and for YB the Data Protection Manager is Clydesdale bank PLC, 30 St Vincent Place, Glasgow, G1 2HC. I also have the data Protection Manager address for Abbey. Just to clarify - I should not use these addresses and send direct to my local branches for the data - statements. What is the purpose of the data protection addresses - do you know? Thanks so much for your help so far. Fran
  3. Annie have just read all your threads - what happened in the end? Am worried to read what a big battle you had with them - but I am going to go ahead Fran:idea:
  4. Hi Wackyjacky I have to send my letter to an address in glasgow. Did you pay a tenner at the bank and then send your letter to Glasgow with your receipt for 10 pounds? What did you say to the bank at the counter? Thanks for helping me Fran
  5. thanks a lot for your help - I think this bit of info should be part of the process section about how to do it. Fran
  6. Hello about to send my data request off. How do I enclose 10 pounds? Does anyone know who I write the cheque to or should it be a postal order? Thanks
  7. Hi, this is my second thread and not sure it it should be here! I have opened the Yorkshire Bank forum but can't see how to post a new thread there. How do I? It would concern the following: I cannot find how to organise the 10 pounds I send for data request. I have got two letters ready - one for Yorkshire Bank and one for Abbey. Do I send a cheque and who do I make it payable to or can I send a postal order - just want to do it the most effective way so no timewasting won by bank. Can anyone help me? I want to send my letters tomorrow. Thanks Fran
  8. Thanks Michael, that's very kind of you. There is someone out there after all!
  9. I hope this is my first post as it has taken me two days to find how to do this in the welcome section. I have found yorkshire bank's address for the data protection register for my first letter but cannot find abbey's. Am I right in understanding I request the data from the address of the data protection register? Will I ever find this place again? Feeling a little internet dazed!
