  1. Thats what I hope. On the verge of taking mine to court, not with Lloyds, but I'm sure this will affect all our cases?
  2. Nope, no default notice and the first thing I knew about it being in dispute was when I got a letter from their collections department which is when it was settled. I'll complain to the CRA in the first instance. Thanks for the replies.
  3. Sorry Experien uses a points system of 0 - 8 on accounts/loans and things. 0 being very good, no missed payments but no '8' means you've defaulted and cant be contacted. Which is nonsense, as I was always in touch with them. Anyway, its showing as cleared now, but is there any point in asking for it to be removed, given they never tried to contact me?
  4. I had an overdraft with Abbey for about £1200. I switched bank accounts for salary purposes as the monthly charges were getting daft, so they then closed my account and sent it to their collections department. I paid, but not before they'd put a large, red number '8' on my experian credit file. Is there any way of getting it removed or should I just swallow it? Will it make any difference to anything being there anyway?
  5. So how does this affect people with claims already in motion? I've just sent off my first claim to Abbey and wonder if they'll try and delay until this case is settled or can I still push ahead with my claim?
  6. Cheers, Lyn Never say never indeed! Good luck with yours too.
  7. Hi everyone! They now have 30 days remaining to respond to my Data Protection Request, so I thought I'd start a thread to let everyone know how it goes. I am expecting a fight from them.
  8. I think you can request copy statements, but they'll charge yer for em, so don't. I'm just starting my battle with Abbey, so wish me luck!
