Looks kosher, but I'll scan it tomorrow and you can have a look...
Thanks guys!!

Well... I'm stunned....
The agreement has arrived by 1st class post!! It's taken since May!
I wasn't really expecting it. Dunno what to do now really.
-
Is it worth getting in touch with the FSA or trading standards?
-
But they totally ignored my request and are trying to buy themselves an extra 30days.
Surely, as they have committed an offence, there is something else I can do... Or are you thinking it's just going to go quiet now...?
-
Hi Guys...
Right, sent your letter OCD, and have got a response this morning saying, and I quote:
"In response to your recent correspondance please be advised we have requeste a copy of your signed agreement from our client. Please be advised this can take 30 days"
Now, I requested this back in May, and if you read OCD's letter, I haven't asked for it again...
What's my next move, chaps??
Thanks for all your help...

I received a lovely letter from them a couple of weeks back simply asking "what have we done wrong?". How they've tried to contact me, and they've visited the property. Trying to be nicey nice.
Still no CCA.
The phone calls still come. You owe us money... Send me the CCA and I'll pay you... We have... Well you've committed an offence, but if you send it again I'll be back in touch. Still nothing.
How do we actually make it stop though??
-
Why waste a stamp. Your post on here is valid even if not read by them.
lol... of course it is.... Why did I forget that>??
-
Would anyone like to come up with a witty retort to this cr4p?
-
Yup... in response to me advising them that they had committed an offence by not supplying the documents in the required time, as per the CCA, the responded with a simple - we sent you the documents on xxx date.
And that's it!!
-
Haha!! This is good. They have sent me a letter to advise me that they did send the documents out, as per my CCA request, but have provided no proof!!
And that's it!!
They are nuts!!

New one arrived today and now my mother is very distressed.
They have filled an N19 in with all her details on, for a local court. There is no court stamp - just a completed claim form.
What swines!! I need to stop this now, because my mother is getting really really upset. Can anyone help put an end to this please?
Thanks

No, infact I have now received a letter advising that a debt collector will visit me within seven days, which concerns me slightly as my partner and son are at home in the day and should not be subjected to this...
Should I be writing to them to inform them that without a CCA agreement they should not be visiting my property?
Barstewards!!! Grrr....

Hello all.
Let me apologise first, as I have been so swamped with work and home that I just haven't had the opportunity to give this thread all it deserves.
Just to update. I have had one letter from Robinson way giving me the deed of assignment, which is just a letter drafted by them stating they have bought the debt.
Just to back track, I sent the CCA request, which was signed for on 31/05/07, which they have acknowledged, but have, to date, received nothing.

Crikey... How long does it take for a cheque to clear these days???
NatWest quote three days, including the day you pay it in (before 3.30pm), and I stuck the chque in on Monday... Still no cleared funds...
It's painful...
-
Right. I think we should have a little fun with this letter... They've made me mad, so let's enjoy ourselves...
Anyone want to give any suggestions as to the content??
-
And you are!
Oh yes....
-
Interesting point. So, if they have not provided detailed information in respect of the overdraft, as a result of the SAR sent, then they are in breach of the data protection act?
Essentially they need to prove that WE agreed to having an overdraft on the account in order to chase the debt.
-
Fine. I shall write back to them.
Thanks for your help!
Much appreicated.
-
Do you honestly need an excuse???
-
Do they have powers to default her, because she has a perfect credit file and in no way wants that?
Thanks again
Fishhhhhh

Is it likely that these chumps will attempt to get a court order?

Email from letting agent:
"The landlord has been into the office today and has been able to answer the two queries.
The boiler was last serviced in November 2006. (I know from my own use of oil that 1400 liters of oil used over 6 months in the winter period is quite economical.)"
