  1. I'm also still waiting and had the same scripted response to emails and call there is a lot of people yet to get a offer of compensation from them still which is ridiculous considering the whole process was supposed to have started back in June
  2. Ill look through my statements to see if any additional charges I had one loan that was refinanced to lower my payments
  3. I've had ppi and interest refunded which reduced the balance and cleared the debt with a sar sent off what would I be able to reclaim as thought I had claimed back all I could now Regards
  4. Had a debt with welcome that seemed like it would never end after taking a £2000 loan in 2008 and paying back over £3.5k I was told I still owed £1200 this was after a ppi refund and having the loan rewritten I recently raised a dispute with the complaints team and this morning got a letter appologising for the excessive intrest which should have been reduced when I started a dmp in 2009 and the loans now had intrest refunded and been written off Anyone having problems might be worth doing the same ??
  5. A few returned dds and then being stung with the charges which then left me short the following month and it just snowballed from there
  6. Hi sorry if this is in the wrong area I am after a bit of aadvise regarding bank charges on a old Lloyds account I had In around may 2009 to Jan 2010 I had a mass of charges added to the account I had no overdraft ect on the account yet each month one was applied to take the charges and month on month it grew untill they defaulted the account At the time I had tried to explain I was struggling and went to cccs but this made no difference I know I should have managed things better in hindsight but now I am slowly getting things back on track but still have this debt with a mass of charges looming over me I have the statements showing the charges and have tried calling the recoveries team but they just say it's in the terms and conditions is there anything I can do

  12. The pdl was taken in jan 2009 and due to be paid the following month so it was defaulted feb/march 2009 up until now there had been no sign of this debt on my credit file at all from either mmf or the oc
  13. If the oc placed a default surely the default date should show from a earlier date when they may have issued it and not dec 2012 regardless of if it had been deleted and mmf now owning it I have never received a default notice from either the oc or mmf Do I have grounds to have the default removed? Regards Pete
  14. On the cra there is no sign indicating anything to do with the pdlc it just shows mmf as the creditor Regards Pete
  15. Just looked back through statements and Have paid £20 PCM each month since aug 2012 apart from 1 missed in nov
  16. Hi just after a bit of advice regarding mmf Was contacted by them sometime last year regarding a old payday loan with 1month loan fortress group Can't remember how much the original loan was but they said I owe around £600 have been making payments apart from 1 month when the payment was missed and they said I had to pay in full Eventually the agreed to reinstate the previous agreement of £20 a month The balance now stands at £460 BUT ... I have looked on equifax tonight and see there is a entry from mmf showing a default of £390 with a current balance of £300 issued on 1/12/12 surely they can't just issue a default with no default notice being given and for no apparent reason Please can anyone help on what action I need to take Regards pete
  17. Finally got some sense from them today have been offered a settlement of £300 by 28th feb Have asked for bank details and that once paid all falsely reported Information be removed from my credit file
  18. Also when looking closer at my credit report the default was issued in June 2009 for £1310 then a fee of £10 was later added in July 2009 bringing it to £1320 and leaving a balance of £1198 so only £122 has been reported as being paid when it say on my statement £191.10 has been paid they are not replying to my request to speak via email Any help as to what to do as this is slowly driving me mad Regards
  19. Had a few replies just saying to call them and they also tried to call me ( old number so they haven't ) shall I ring them or stick to my guns

  22. Will do ... I'm not holding out much hope that they are going to follow my request but we shall she if they don't play ball what would be the next step a complaint to the oft with a copy of all emails ??
  23. For a defaulted sum of £208.90 sum I am being charged £989.70 in charges not only is this excessive I think your find on your terms it clearly states only 60days interest would be applied to any defaulted account so any further interest is void I would suggest that the interest to this account is recalculated so we can then come to a reasonable arrangement to pay what I actually owe and not unlawful fees Regards I have emailed them the above and am now waiting for a response the account has not been chased in all these year I am just trying to get on top of everything and finally sort this out but as I said before only want to pay what I actually owe can they actually enforce these charges Regards
