Next thing that has made me worried is, i phoned the court like you said and they made things clear to me, they also said that i might like to bring any evidence that i might have to hand it might impress the Judge. I must admitt that im not that clever and my faimily have told me that this is over my head, so im thinking that i will just tell the judge the hardship this has caused me ect. I have a list of questions that i have downloaded from this site, they seem very good, and some of them Iv been told they cannot answer. Any more help will do people Fred

They have just filed an Acknowledgement of service on the 11/Oct/06. They intend to respond to defend the case. Since this claim started i have been issued with three charges of £35.00. Im am a very low paid worker this is hurting me a lot, as it takes a big lump from my weekly wage. I have borrowed from a very great mate the monie to take them to court £120.00 they owe me £1.605.80. I really dont know what to do now, im in panic mode. 12. Hi Night star I have been through the letter exchanges from the very start, every thing was done by the book. They offerd me £650 as a good will gesture, i replyd that i would except the money on the understanding that i would still be payed the rest of the money. I recived a letter today 26th Aug saying that no more money would be payed to me. ( i might add that the time frame for this settlement is on the 28 Aug) and that this is a full and final settlement. Do i go to Dartford county court and start a small claims against Barclays/woolwich for the full amount? Thanks for helping me Fred
  13. hI Same thing with me, they offerd me £655 but im owd £1440,80 I sent them a thank you but no letter from the library. Recived a letter to day saying :i should take the money as it was a good will gesture no more money will be offerd! and they are sorry that we could not reach a amicable resolotion. Should i go to a small claims at this time? Fred x
  14. Hi All I have joined this link as it might help me. I recived a letter from BARKLAYS/WOOLWICH AFTER SENDING THEM A LETTER WITH ALL MY CHARGES TO THEM. It said sorry about how i feel, but i read the conditions when i opened the account six years ago. However they would very kindly give back £655.00. I quote " This is with the cost and inconvenience inherent in a further dispute in mind and is intended as a gesture of good will". They owe me £1.441.80 (this includes 8% charges) Do i take the money and run, or take them to court now? Any help will do Thanks PS I have sent all the letters to them by the book as this site says
