  2. Santander / GE Capital finally coughed up, took them bang on 8 weeks before i was going to the FOS, still have one on HFC with the FOS and 2 with Black Horse and a further one with Lloyds TSB, still ongoing. Fingers crossed they will be all good!
  3. I suppose my only option now though is to wait and see what there final response is?
  4. Hi Guys, What do you think about this response letter? This is the response I got from Black Horse, 1 week within the 8 week deadline Are they correct in saying I cannot go to the FOS? Any Help appreciated
  5. Sorry the tv is less then 5 months old
  6. Can't I refuse a repair?
  7. Im having trouble with comet, my TV screen has 3 static marks that i belive are bedded in the screen, after quoting sales of good act to comet customer service, ive managed to get an engineer to inspect the TV, if he finds its faulty can i request a replacement?
  8. Im in the same boat as you more of less. PPI re- claims have been submitted post iva so will let you know how i get on. Mine completed in december and i have got my certificate of completion in march. It might be a good idea to wait till you have your certificate because otherwise any claims you make that are succsessfull, your creditors will no doubt put it towards outstanding as no certificate has been created therefore they still think theres outstanding balances. If that makes sence
  9. Sorry to keep hijacking this. Thread, but llyods have sent me a aknowledgement letter already and i only spoke to them yesturday lol the JR has kicked them up there bum. Hopefully get a good outcome

Will wait and see what the fos do with that one. Will keep posting when i here any news. Hopefully good!
  11. Just spoke to them on the phone, you where correct, they lost it in the post, even though it was signed for typical. they said they will write to me in 5 working days.
  12. Here is the Original Agreement this is a front loading PPI premium? From my calculations I make it around £774 before 8% interest. Is that right can someone have a look at it for me?
  13. Ahh yeah thats the one. One account I was happy with the ppi settlement as it included the 8% interest and matched the figure i got from my paperwork. The other is this one, the fos is dealing with. They have wrote to me through 2010 with updates that they are investigating and need more time. The last letter i have from the fos is that "sorry its taken so long will have an update by 31st may 2011" "due to the complex nature of the issues involved" Thanks for your help, will look at the links you provided.
  14. Well a long fight with HFC eventually ended up going to the fos. They replied in december, telling me that they couldnt investigate my complaint about HFC because the date that the sale took place was a before they had jurisdiction. They did say though, that there going to investigate my complaint to the underwriters. Its been nearly a year now since i first complained, may 2010 I got a letter last month that the fos will contact me on the 31st of may for a decision. What do you think the outcome will be as its been a while, they could of left it at "sorry we cant help" but they havent said that, what do you guys think, this lenth of time a positive or negative?
  15. I have a PPI claim with them but the address is different to what I used. LTSB, Customer Relations 2 Brindley place Birmingham, B1 2AB. Would I be right in thinking Lloyds will forward it to this new address they have? it has been delivered. I had the letter recorded with royal mail and i have the signature that, someone from Lloyds signed for. It’s been 5 weeks so far and no acknowledgement that there looking into my complaint.
  16. Interesting read. Thanks for that. Im basicly looking for a figure of what i paid into it plus the 8%. I still think payments where made in the iva because as you said, its a front loading ppi so the banks have already coiffed up the money so there looking to get that back and if they try to put it to any debt that has been wiped off, then there in breach of the terms n conditions of the iva document.
  17. Hi, thanks for the reply. Before my iva started i was paying roughly 28 months for lloyds and 21 months for GE capital. My iva has now completed and my credit report shows all the loans are satisfied, so there are no more outstanding debts. I have a certificate of completion to state that it is all complete. When the iva started, did the PPI payment stop or where they included with the debt? (Seeing as they are front loaded? id imagine they where included within the debt? ) that i made voluntary payments to in my agreement?
  18. Hi, I wonder if you guys could help me, I’ve searched but couldn’t find the relevant info apologies if I’ve missed it. I have two loans, one with Lloyds’ and one with GE capital. I have attached the agreements on here so you can have a look at them. What I want to know is, is the PPI on these loans a single premium or not? I had these loans before I went into an IVA about 12 -24 months to be precisely. These where taken into the IVA agreement which is now complete, would anyone know if PPI payments where still being paid in the IVA Payment? And if reclaiming PPI back, what figure should I be looking at, if any? Many thanks in advance, hope you can help
  19. Sorry for the thread hijack, Will start a new thread now
  20. Ive managed to reclaim all my PPI from HFC it is deffinalty worth pursuing
  21. What about when a IVA is completed? Do you calculate from when you pay into the PPI scheme, right up until the IVA starts, or is the PPI payments included with in the IVA payment? I.E, say I was paying PPI payments for two years, then entered an IVA for five years, should my claim be for two years or seven?
  22. Excellent, thank you very much DJ1971. I will get onto the letters ASAP!
