  1. How do I actually inform them?
  2. It's unlikely but possible that it might happen, as sometimes i get a lot in a short amount of time.
  3. I get money for doing programming, so I guess thats considered "working", but it's not fixed times, I just do updates every so often.
  4. Hello, I'm under 16 and I have recently started receiving cash on paypal, Do I have to declare this to HM Revenue & Customs? If so how, it's not a fixed price per week/month so I'm a bit lost. Help please.
  5. Then we just support ourselves or upgrade . anyway latest service package on xp service pack 3 was said to carry on till 2014 which is 4 years, enough time for us all to upgrade etc.. Also remember, more and more software will start relying on the newer software within the newest windows versions, directx11 is an example.
  6. To be honest, there is several causes for the ring of death, you here the "wrap it in a towel trick" which I don't recommend because even if occasionally it works it can be dangerous. But the basic idea behind it is to re-overheat the machine and it magically starts working again. If you do choose to do this, make sure you take care. I'm only telling you this from past experiences and most of the time it has worked.
  7. Ye, the automated line should work for you if the key is genuine, I think it used to connect you to someone in person but now its all automated so you won't even need to talk to someone. Go to active on the windows and do it via "active by telephone" then you literally follow the instructions and it will generate you a key to enter. Should take about 5 minutes.
  8. Well the link can be removed if necessary, it's simple to find the set yourself on ebay or other sites, just look for "xbox 360 controller mod kits". And you shouldn't go far wrong, and yes it should be easy enough to do if you follow the instructions carefully and if you get stuck check out some videos on youtube for a visual example of how to do it.
  9. Rapid Fire Xbox 360 Controller Mod Kit on eBay (end time 01-Jul-10 13:33:42 BST) ^^ The mod sets are cheap to buy and most (like the one above) have instructions available on-line, but make sure you check the listing fully before buying it to make sure it's the correct one.
  10. Well you can buy a already modded controller or buy the mod kit (also possible to make this yourself), it involves taking apart the controller and attaching a button to each trigger (video example on youtube: ) I'm presuming he's doing the Rapid fire mod? which means it will allow him to "cheat" on FPS shooters and fire pistols etc, a lot faster than possible with the trigger.
  11. I've had a few xbox 360's and ye I've had to deal with quite a lot of problems with them (rod x 3) so ye I know a bit about them.
  12. Ok, I've sorted this issue, just a update for anyone else who's reading this who needs help, if your on a Natwest Adapt account [11-18], you don't get charged.
  13. My bank balance is still reporting as £8.53, which hasn't changed so I don't know if it just hasn't been updated yet or the payment hasn't been processed yet.
  14. Ok, I've done some research and it seems that SOLO cards (which was used to do this payment) have to be authorized before the payment is completed, so that requires natwest to check my balance and only do the payment is sufficent funds.
  15. So if that is indeed what has happened, then what? Also if I have to pay a charge and then get it refunded, I'm going to have big issues as I have no income and no money to pay the charge, who would be left liable for it if i was unable to pay?
  16. I've already contacted them and waiting on a reply for the refund. Can you explain why it was possible for the payment to be successful with not enough money in my account?
  17. only a email from the company i bought from, but the paypal subscription was still active, so I don't know if that counts.
  18. So will it just not allow the D/D and no charge will be made?
  19. Hello, I'm 15 years old. A paypal subscription went out today which I forgot was running and the service was actually already cancelled with the supplier. Anyway the funds went out but were more than my bank balanced but paypal hasn't errored or anything and says it paid. Even though it was £2-3 more than what was in my account. I'm on a adapt account and want to know where i stand for charges and whats happening, Freaking out over this because if i get charges I don't know how i'm going to cover them Thanks for any replys.
