  1. Hi Just wondering on where to go I've had a search and can't seem to find an answer hope someone can help. We bought our first home 10 yeara ago. At the time I was 30 living at home with my parents, running a low profit (if any) business, my girlfriend (now wife ) was in full time employment, around £25k salary We decided to buy a house, after negotiations, an offer of £121 500 was accepted. We had £0 deposit. The whole mortgage was put in my wife's name. The broker managed to get us an interest only mortgage for £125 000, which went to the buyer, she then gave us £3500 cash back on completion, to pay some of the setting up in our new home. I also remember the guy simply saying, something like you have to have this protection, don't worry it'll be included within your payments. Looking back totally baffling how on earth we managed to get a mortgage! Can someone help in which direction to go to look at mis-selling and protection charges? Thanks
  2. i have had notification they've received my email. So do I sinply wait to hear back from them? Thanks
  3. I have sent this email this morning. as I'vee run out of ink for my printer, will send letter today also when this problem is solved! ........ Parking Collection Service PO Box 271 Ashton Under Lyne OL6 0DL 18th July Ref: Charge Date: 13/05/2015 Parking Charge Ref Number: ... Vehicle Registration Number: .... To Whom It May Concern: I write on behalf of ***, the registered keeper of the car at the time, as he has given me his authorization to do so. We appeal this ticket and require us to be issued with a POPLA code at this time. I look forward to your reply. Regards *** Will that suffice?
  4. Thanks both, I wasn't the registered keeper at the time and the NTK went to mph FiL. I am however now the registered keeper, so all correspondence should be coming to me. So is it best to reply saying I am replying on behalf of FIL who was the was the keeper at the time and no longer is I am... Then ask for POPLA in same letter or wai until I receive a reply? Thanks
  5. It says I can use the online form, where it wants me to complete my details, name address, telephone number etc and options being 'driver, keeper, driver&prehistoric keeper, hirer/ lease, or non of the Above' Or. On the form to complete and post, it a asks for Appeal details and again name address contact number and signature. For the appeal do I literally write, I am appealing the issue of this ticket and require to be issued with a POPLA code And no more, Put my name and address as the contact, not admitting to being driver and NOT sign it? Sorry for all questions need to get this right. Thanks
  6. So i just reply to their NTK letter saying I am the keeper not my FiL and the car was parked there, i believe the charge not to be vaild because the signage was not clear?
  7. Well it is me who was in the wrong place so it's my problem. Do we have any template letters i could use? Or do i get FiL to reply saying wasn't him and he's not keeper of the car?
  8. Date of charge - 13/05/2015 Date of notice - 26/06/2015 The letter was sent to my father in law, who was the registered keeper. I am now the registered keeper of the car, just received all the documents through the post. No contact Has been made with LDK SECURITY GROUP ltd or PCS Who, have sent up the notice to keeper.
  9. 'Fine' was my word. It is an 'outstanding Parking Charge Notice'. I have received the NTK letter. The curve ball in here is, the car is mine, was registered in my father in laws name, where the NTK was sent too, now though is in the process of being re-registered in my name, all forms with DVLA as we speak, so the new keeper is me... what do you recommend? Thanks
  10. Hi and thanks Bazooka Boo! Maybe sound stupid here what's NTK? looking forward to ericbrother's advice. Thanks!
  11. Hi, I hope someone can help, I have searched on here and see differing replies. I received a parking fine from LDK Security, I was 10 minutes late back to the car. It was in a place in the middle of Newcastle City Centre, that I did not realise was privately owned. As I got back to my car there was actually a traffic warden placing tickets on cars on the street next to where I was parked. I approached him to try and get my ticket removed. That's when he informed me it was a private area. His advice was not to pay it as they are not enforceable!! He was actually at the time about to put a ticket on the car of the lady who was issuing tickets in the private car park! I've been really busy and to be honest forgot about this fine, so it hasn't been paid. I have now received an issue for £125 fine for non payment of the ticket. Researching on here and online majority say ignore, some say to pay. What is the situation now, as most posts I've found about this company are a year or two old. Thanks in advance; I'm sorry if this is in another thread I couldn't find anything upto date.
  12. Hi, This thread is great thanks. I need a very basic account for my Ltd business. I only need money to go in electronically and out electronically once per month, don't need people to be paying me, or a card. Can people who have this account let me know, firstly I can set it up for a Ltd company and how fast does money land in an account once transferred out of this account? Thanks in advance.
  13. Hi everyone, Some good news I would think. I decided to scapre the money together and pay the Partial Settlement to BC via Credit Solutions. By the time the funds were sorted, I called and they said the file had gone back to BC!!! Another debt management company took over, letters and calls started again, then a letter for substantially reduced settlement was sent. I left it for a whie then called. The debt on the card was a shade over £3600. They offered me 10% off, I refused. They offered 50% off, I refused, told them I would only pay £500, which I think they took as a bit of an insult! They eventually agreed, that they would settle for a F&F of £1205, a 3rd of the balance that was on the card. I have done this and paid. So no more hassles from them. They have said my file is marked with Partial Settlement and I have confirmation from them in writing. Do you think I have got a fair result? Thanks
  14. Hi Slick, Thanks. They did not offer me a F&F of 60%, they offered me a figure, which calculates at a discount of 60%. Thanks Keith
