Fine is £120.00 Parking was in a street not a car park

I have just received 10 day notice from these people. I have ignored previous letters. Quick outline I was not the driver, i was in another place at the time, and they got the wrong street on the ticket. I am willing to go to court if need be. The ticket says 'on a yellow box section' Are these people the police now?????? Any advise would be appreciated.

I have sent 2 letters to my ex landlord with no reply A friend of mine says that he is in breach of the order, and because he is deliberatly ignoring the order he is also in contempt of court as he has had the court order and the recorded delivery letters from me. is this true? I wrote to the court who sent me an application form but i do not know what to put on it. I also want to know if i can claim for damages due to the stress put on myself and my family, and what sort of a figue to put on it. many thanks mark

My ex landlord was ordered by the court to remove 3 charging orders from my house by 4pm 14th jan 2009. i phoned the land registry today and they have informed me that the orders are still there. Can anyone tell me what to do now. many thanks Mark

Kate I received their A&Q I dont know who the witness is. Mine is going back with the £100.00. Their defence says they repaid some of my charges. I have checked with the statements and I have not claimed for the charges they have refunded. I cant wait to go to court against them. Dick Turpin without the mask, that is my opinion of them. They even have trainees handling this case. Obviously we are not worthy of anything from them. Mark

I have just received the Allocation Questionaire. They have put they do not agree with the small claims but have not filled the box in to say why. Also they have 1 witness apart from the solicitor. Is this usual? I have noticed that they have different figures by £154.50 saying refunds were given. I am checking this out today.

I have just received a letter from their solicitor putting a defence in to the court. Is this usual? The defence says that the particulars of the claim disclose no reasonable cause of action and ought to be struck out pursuant to the provisions of the civil procedure rules part 3.4 and/or that summery judgement ought to be granted against the claimant pursuant to the civil procedure rules part 24.2 as the claimant has no real prospects of succeeding on the claim or issue and there is no other compelling reason why the case or issue ought to be disposed of at trial. Be careful of the A&L. When you send the first letter demanding the charges back they reply straight away. Do not send the LBA before the 14 days is up. If you send it and then start procedings on return they will not have been given the 28 days needed. A solicitor friend of mine told me this. It looks as if they are trying to get it thrown out on technicality

No none of that happened. When I went to the workshop after working away the locks had been changed. My solicitor wrote a letter and he changed them back denying he changed them in the first place. He sent me a letter this week saying I vacated the property in August even though the rent was paid up to Sept 15th. My mail from the workshop was returned to sender from early September (I have proof of this and he denied this also in october but it is piecing together now I think he wanted me out). I have lost a lot of work over this with people not being able to get in touch.

By The Way I Have Not Received Any Written Notices From My Landlord

I was 1 month behind with the rent. The landlord changed the locks and stopped me working in October 2006. I was in a joint tennancy with a friend. I am the only one getting taken to court and my ex friend gets away with everything. My landlord has just sent me a letter saying I vacated the property in August 06 which is not true as august rent had been paid in advance. My business mail had been returned not known at this address since September 2006. This mail included cheques, tax vouchers and work orders/enquiries which would have paid my share of the rent. The business looks like it is going to fold in the very near future as most of our clients thought we were out of business and went elsewhere. I went to a solicitor who wrote to my landlord telling him that changing the locks was a breech of the lease agreement and sending my mail back was not good. My landlord denied everything and changed the locks back after the letter which was sent Oct 06. I was working away during Sept/Oct. There is a lot more to tell if I can get some help. I am now being taken to court for over 13k. My ex friend is getting away scott free.

Today I received a standard letter from A&L. I am sending the letter before action to them today recorded delivery. 28/2/2007. They now have 14 days or they will be in court

I am sending my letter asking for a refund of all the charges i have received on my account. This totals £2671.35 without interest . I am willing to go all the way on this as they put me and my family through some very hard times:mad:

I had a joint account for 8 years with the A&L. last year we were charged over £1000.00 in only 5 months. The charges actually put us over our overdraft and when we paid all the monies back they closed the account and demanded the OD in our flexi account back (and send the debt collectors for it) Do we have a claim ?
