  1. had forms in other week and as normal left it until the last moment to fill the online admit it form problem is there web site is down and stating its down until the 20th for maintenance. i admit the debt we have been paying each of at £1 a week but with out warning they suddenly opted for the court now the deadline for the forms is tomorrow the 13th my debt is for just over £600 I'm out of work no income and is supported by my partner not in titled to any jsa etc. what would the most likely outcome would be will they up the payments or enforce it to any other collection obv with out the submit ion we was not able to give them a income outgoing. I'm not worried about the ccj as my credit is shot anyway. even if people did obtain ccjs would it be worth me opting to go bankrupt and start with a clean slate in a few years time also if i did go bankrupt would the ccjs go to creditors like any other debts listed. must say partner also has same problems but good credit history until this but her amount is over £2000 also on the court papers they have clearly alterd sighned docs to say the debt becomes payable in full if any arears fall on the debt. also the place the credit is with last year discused in person our debts to a friend that was no longer he told them how much was owed and when we had last payed and how much can we have any come back on that breach of the data protection
  2. thats good news im not worried if they want to fix it but will i get a new warrenty on it as any new bored in it will also have the fault that stemed from manufactore
  3. this laptop in jan is 2 years old its been intermittent for the famous graphics screw up when in use starting to get very regular now. now the laptop is out of warranty but its a well proved inherent fault with them as goggled searched and proven with the search term of hp dv9605ea graphics failure. can this laptop be returned under the sales of goods act. i can get a computer engineers report on it. it was brought from pc world in 2008 on the first day they opened in the new year. have the box and recite for it still. couple of marks on it and a worn black mark next to mouse bad where the silver has worn of where you rest your hand. if pc world don't want to play ball can we raise a small claim through the court and if so who do we claim of pc world or hp.
  4. thats ok i brought a imatation battery for it today for 1.89 free postage lol if it frys the phone i will gladley throw it in the bin we have two of these phones and both are very bad with freezing and crashing and not being able to make or recive calls with out taking the battery of and rebooting the phone. as soon as both contracts are up where going to o2 again but on a pay as you go tariff that we top up £15 a month and get unlimited free texts and calls to any o2 phone
  5. just been speaking to o2 with regards to my nokia n95 8gb battery has failed acording to them the battery is only coverd for 3 months from purches surly this is a sales of goods act as im fairly sure the battery should last a min of 12 months. phone is 8 months old
  6. what car is it as most are on the obdii or vag cam you only need to find a local person to plug the right interface into the car to tell you any fault codes. also is the engine manigment light on if not no codes my be stored
  7. well all the factory well team b are now complaining including the team leaders and shift maniger
  8. well factory where my partner works in northern ireland uses a 3 team shif pattern over 12 hours. last year due to the recesion team b (my team) lost most of the hours due to how the days fell. nothing was ever done to sort that so the other two teams a and c got better pay and better hours. latist problem is team a and c are getting all the overtime work even sat and sunday when the factory would be normaly closed we are also short staffed on our team yet expected to make same targets as the overcrowded teams. my problem is that my partner is not being offerd any overtime what so ever is there any rights we have or is it my partner and her team has to like it or lump it. also what about setting up a forgot what you call the group but they fight for the workers etc. think one is acas etc.
  9. well after speaking to some one that was on the trial it has finished a while back he had asked them if he could still use the line but bt said no. the line is still burried in the road and to the box but bt has put every one back on the copper line. bt said they are not going to instal the fibur optic line anywhere as its allready out dated (funny that to say virgin use it). i am really feeling shafted by bt and so does a lot of other people. i feel now that we should be begging the mobile network providers to upgrade our area to 3g then bt will loose most of its costomers up here.
  10. hi there i brought one on 3 pay as you go was £10 inlcuding delivery thought it was still handy for that price for on holiday. we can get signal in the front field for itbut not in the house was looking at buying a arial to plug into the dongle but was expencive and really not worth the risk
  11. where with o2 our contract is up for renewal but think where just going to run it month by month until we decide to get rid. im led to belive by the enginere that sorted our other house out further down the street that craigstown was on the fibure optic. im going to have to chat to them to see if any kno exactly what there on. if you get 512 your doing better than us but you may have just given us a argument to get our line sorted as your further down the line than us. also i probly like you would be happy to get 2mb broadband or even over 1mb. i just am starting to feel that bt are ripping every one of on our street i kno rural areas its to be expected but when the tecnoligy is right there why dont they just use it. im hopeing if we moan enouth or make enouth noise that bt will do something for belive me if they dont as soon as one of them mobile dongles can get signal where gone from fixed line and a broaband to the 3g.
  12. well one thing as speaking with tel42a today one house on our rural street is on the fibur optic broadband we just have to find out if its still active also i do a few gardens on the little estate thats on it and will ask them on there. i think we should also ask people on our steet who has broadband and whats there average connection speed and see if we could preswade bt to upgrade us.
  13. lol just realised by your user name who you are 42a just gave it away
  14. hi there pm sent to you im in Magheramorne but allways say larne as far easyer to type
  15. hmmm nokia n95 8gb we have two never again tho. quality of the phone is poor one on of button broken keeps freezing. then mine it looses signal and freezes latest updates on both.
  16. that is sounding dogey i would see my own bank first see what they have to say if they have reclaimed the charges they would tell you. i kno some stores have auto autheristion but i think tread carfully
  17. i saw that last night the date they say is march 2010 but with what i have read on google its still a waste of time for us as where on the very end of a 7 mile line where the very last house on our street to get broadband. with what i had read that will only benifit people closer to the exchange rather than further away. also all the copper phone lines have been cut and joined so many times up here it baffles me on how the lines still work.
  18. this is the articule that i have been searching for weeks. based in larne so adding info before you read. our anolog copper cable box is next to the fibure optic box. there is rufly 35 houses on our street that want broadband. what im wondering is we just get abouve dial up speeds on broadband as on maximun limit on copper cable. is there any one we can contact in bt to see if we can pleed our case over to see wether they could move the housholds over to the fibre optic broadband. on our street were all sick of paying top notch for so little. yet housing estate is getting around 10+mb. we dont mind paying for reconection etc but is there any one we can contact . this is the article to fill you in. also when asked two years ago our street was sopposed to be ear marked to go into the trials. BT in fibre to the street cabinet trials Monday 12 September 2005 15:02:00 by Andrew Ferguson For those who have no access to broadband todays press release from the BT Group offers some hope. BT Wholesale is to run a number of trials that will see DSLAMs installed in the street cabinet or adjacent to an existing cabinet. This DSLAM would then be connected back to the exchange using fibre optic cable, giving rise to the name of FTTC, fibre to the cabinet, sometimes also called FTTK, fibre to the kerb. The trials are focused on areas where broadband availability has remained an issue even with the relaxation of the limits on the 0.5Mbps service, which amounts to around 0.2% of BT's customers. The trials are set to run through until the summer of 2006, so will not provide a magic overnight solution, but are intended to assess the technical, operational and commercial feasibility of FTTC for both current broadband services and future roll-outs. Four locations have being selected for the trial in South Yorkshire and five in Northern Ireland, and work should start in the coming weeks. Some customers who can already get ADSL may be chosen for the trial, and others with no ADSL access chosen to allow for a mix of test environments. In Yorkshire the places involved are in Wheatley Hill and Intake, Doncaster; Great Houghton and Dodworth, Barnsley; and Catcliffe, Treeton and Brinsworth in Rotherham. In Northern Ireland trial locations are in Larne; the Annaghmore area of Portadown; Glenavy area Crumlin, Co Antrim; Greencastle area, Gortin, Co Tyrone; and the Balmoral area of Belfast. BT telephone customers who are having problems getting ADSL due to the use of fibre between their street cabinet and the exchange currently, in the guise of TPON will be interested in another trial set to start in December 2005. This trial will be using a similar technical approach, and will be used to get broadband to a number of trialists in the Charlton Down area of Dorchester, Dorset, and the Kingswells area of Aberdeen. We must emphasis the trial nature of these services, BT will be identifying suitable trialists in the selected locations so do not go chasing individual service providers. As and when more information appears we will publish it. There is a real chance that the trials may not develop into something that is commercially deployed en-masse, this is the nature of a trial. On the subject of areas with TPON based telephone lines, the copper overlay programme has made it into the news. This programme was started back in October 2003, and a fair amount of progress has been made. While not all TPON lines have copper available for ADSL, a good proportion now do. Where people are unsure of the state of roll-out of the copper overlay in their area, and their service provider is unable or unwilling to expend the effort to check the progress we can do some checking for people.
  19. the problem was with the motherbords used was the graphics chip is solderd to the main bored so the whole motherbord has to be changed and would be costly to them hence i think thats why they didnt want to admit faults with them.
  20. when we brought ours it was a fairly new modle so google searches brought very little info up on them but now its page after page of grapics faults. was in computer shop as well other day and low and behold same laptop in bits on the desk waiting for the graphics to be resolderd to the bored with no good prospect of a fix
  21. just wondering we brought this laptop in jan 2008 in the pc world sales it is around 20 months old now but as people kno this laptop is well documented for the graphics card failing. well its been slighty intermitant for the last 6 months but is getting worse and more oftern. now i would say a laptop should in fair view be fit to last for 3 years whats peoples views on this. also is it worth returning it to pc world under soga. its well documented on the faults of this laptop. hp wont admit to any one that its a well known fault. even youtube has videos on how to slide paper onto the graphics chip to try to get it to work etc. its the nvidea chip i belive it over heats do to bad setup in the laptop. we paid over £500 for it. my main laptop is a hpdv1474ea old as the ark and still runs perfect lol
  22. well today i got my packet first class posted on the 8th. problem is up hear its the larne sorting office supervisor that delivers to our road. he knows im getting more than unhappy with the service. its even affecting me on ebay as they think im delaying important stuff being posted out to them.
  23. just wondering had things sent to me first class and still 3 days later nothing. also i think they keep missing our street every other day. it is getting beyond the joke as still paying a good amount for first class postage thats clearly not happening
