I was under the impression the op felt the cost was too high and was asking if it was reasonable or not for that area.

 

Most of the general issue threas are along the same lines are they not - questioning the service are they not ?

that was my origanal thought a few grams of part costing so much it was only later on they said it was the whole hub i had also forgoten to update the thread.

i would prob also say that the whole hub posted at £27 was a good close to cost price

have to say parcel force do the same rates as well and i have found they deliver better and offer a bettor and cheaper sevice than royal mail

my quote was for the whole hub when i had origanly made my enguirys they forgot to tell me i was getting the whole hub.

in the end i never got my part from them as the lads in the yard could not understand abs sensor wanted yet they cut the cable on one and broke the other.

in the end i got a whole hub and drive shaft for £30 local.

i had used equicar in the past and had good reasults with them for delivery time etc.

have to say as well allen you are also right that a lot of abs sensors do not come out the hub ither

that is wrongfull information throu that number you can only book the phone in for repair or to find the nearist express repair center

not rung them but will ring them now to find out what there playing at

any luck with your phone i have the experia x10 and its been in for 5 weeks now with failed back light random letters typing when you type a text crashing poor signal etc. like you im paying £35 a month to use a nokia 3220 that is very basic while this is in for repair

still not got it back and carphone warhouse are dragging there feet with it.

phone is approx 3 months old.

can i force them to give me a new phone under the sales of goods act etc.

also will my warrenty be extended for the 4 weeks i have not had the phone or full use of my services that i pay for.

i emailed them on there contact form asked for the parts wanted and my postcode got quote was high enouth started placing order and postage shot up from £10 to £27.

it is only a abs sensor about the wieght of 100 grams how do they get away with that sort of price.

i kno where northern ireland but surly there delivery costs cant be that high

well i brought a socket set from jtf wholsale and got back home to northern ireland shop in notts etc.

used the 1/2 inch drive ratchet to find it was broken.

i could not return it to jtf as none in northern ireland so contacted rolson direct.

they have emailed and basicly said get stuffed as no warrenty or anything on there tools.

what are my rights i paid £40 for it thinking it would be a good quality set yet the ones from argos at £20 seam to be better

i work for asda and new but my understanding if you see the price and you pay it its then yours. they can refuse to sell you the item at that price tho.

To reset the door/window computer, do the following:

| Close all of the doors and hood.

| Key in position II engine not running.

| Hold both the driver window and passenger

| window switches in the driver door panel in the closed or

| up position for 5 to 8 seconds after the windows are closed.

| Release buttons.

| Remove the ignition key.

| Operated the remote twice. lock/unlock lock/unlock.

| This will reset the UEM brain.

| This can correct faulty operation of the sunroof

| and/or erratic door lock function.

|

| Using the key in the drivers door to lock/unlock

| lock/unlock will also reset the UEM ----

| Upper Electronic Module.

the 307's are well known for bsi or com problems

to me it sounds like we will fix the fault take the bulb out.

oh we have been sused conect it to anouther light that comes on for a few seconds.

my advice is follow what you have been told abouve.

it could be the head gasket or anything going and by keep running it you could be doing alot more damage.

when you get independant advice post the findings on here for the next steps.

i was in same boat charge back on a laptop £600 still get odd calls and letters but def no court nearly 5 years ago this happend now.

also i belive with paypal there is no credit agrement so if they took it to court i very much doubt they would win for paying back a fraudster out the goodness of there hearts.

you have plenty of proof of fraud and paypal allowed it.

was working for a well known supermarket as a christmas temp there called t##co cant fault job etc as was great.

problem arouse in induction i gave them my p45 and bank details.

how do i go about getting this mess up corrected and also claiming the emrgancy tax back i was only pt and a 20 hour week so was only just over the £100 a week so should not have been taxed or have much tax taken.

the only contact from her insurance was a letter to state a claim started for wing mirror when i spoke to her today she had sent the forms of to her insurance company stating no cost as her car was ok so over the next few days i soppose i will find out if she has told the truth. to be honest it would be far more simple to let the whole matter drop than rather risk 50 50 as in most cases its how the claims go for this sort of thing.

well i just rang the woman she is going to sighn a letter with her name on to let it drop she admited no damige again on her car. i said as long as she drops it then i will drop it i also told her that there was police notes noting damige to our car and not hers. i have had ours fixed keeping the old parts and it cost us a grand total of £20 to fix as its a old car not worth going throu the insurance for this amount or even genuwin new parts as car will be lucky to last one year.

catch up with her grab the keys she is rude and obnoxious claiming we had hit her. police called as she refused to give details police come details given she is breath tested and only just passed as she had been drinking.

she said to me she would pay cash for mirror etc that was sat night today wed get a letter in from AA insurance she is claiming for drivers wing mirror and wing on her 306. funny thing is police noted damage to cars 306 none maybe a scratched mirror ours wing plastics around arch and mirror and small scratch on rear panel. so i ring Quinn where now claiming for mirror arch and paintwork on rear of quarter panel. where going full swing i got photos of the lane and found the glass for the mirror at the side of the road near impact so that Tally's photos etc. does any one happen to know the main dealer price for black arch and a color coded wing mirror.

i have to say i have gone sour to o2 now one thing is throw the thompson router in the bin i went back to my old trusty netgear had a software well firmware update to do the adsl2 from next year.

it never drops the signal now and gets better speed.

also like you now last two weeks has seen problems with google maps and proboards forums.

also windows updates are now at a crawl too
