  1. Hillards - Yes I've still got letters from all 3 saying closed and returned. I've used the bemused letter before and will definitely use it again this time. I'm going to add a bit of waffle about them contacting me again about the same loan. Thanks for your help Patrickq1 - 7 wow! lol
  2. Hiya, Just wondering if this is going to go on forever more. It's a Cahoot Flexi-loan. Have CCA'd Cahoot and it seems they only have a CCA for my credit card. Since May last year the flexi-loan has been with Apex (Buchanan, Clark & Wells), Moorcroft then Debt Managers Limited, oh and Geoffrey Parker Bourne Solicitors. They have all closed their files and returned to Cahoot. Yesterday I received another letter for the flexi-loan from Moorcroft - I take it they really did delete all the data they had on me and don't know they have tried to chase me for this before. Or is that me being daft?! Anyway, just wondered how many different DCA's people have had chase them for one debt. Sue.
  3. Hiya, Have you blanked a bar-code thing off the top? Link to mine - http://i276.photobucket.com/albums/kk19/suzilla7/TSB/page1-1.jpg on thread - http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/debt-collection-industry/160756-cca-received-lloyds-tsb.html - I think that's what links mine, bar-code on each page. I also SAR'd TSB, it was worse than getting blood out of a stone! I too haven't been charged for lots of returned DD's and non-payments - doesn't seem right does it? Any other Lloyds TSB loan people out there? Sue
  4. Have been receiving information in dribs and drabs (sp?) from TSB. A few days ago I received my personal loan statement - according to this they didn't charge me for returned direct debits or sending me letters. Does that sound normal? Also, they have closed my current account and added my overdraft onto my personal loan, so they are now treating it as one account instead of two separate ones. Is this allowed? It's a bit annoying because now I have one giant debt instead of a big one and a small one - was looking forward to seeing the small one slowly disappear! Sue
  5. Thanks for the quick replies both of you! I'm told I've got to spread my reps around before doing you's again lol. Sue
  6. Hello again, I sent PGH7447's letter (thank-you!) Today I received another letter - I think they are trying to say they're allowed to omit my personal details, including signature, under Regulation 3 of the Consumer Credit Regulations. Have they made this up or what?? What should I do next? http://i276.photobucket.com/albums/kk19/suzilla7/capital%20one/img006.jpg http://i276.photobucket.com/albums/kk19/suzilla7/capital%20one/img007.jpg Sue
  7. Hiya, I took the card out in 1997. Don't think I knew what on-line was then lol.
  8. I'm paying reduced payments on my Capital One credit card. There is a message at the top of my statements saying that as long as I keep up the reduced payments they won't add interest or charges. I thought this was very nice of them! Then last month I got an arrears letter saying I owed them £400 and something because I hadn't paid the last two payments in full. So I sent a CCA request. http://i276.photobucket.com/albums/kk19/suzilla7/capital%20one/cap1page1.jpg http://i276.photobucket.com/albums/kk19/suzilla7/capital%20one/cap1page2.jpg http://i276.photobucket.com/albums/kk19/suzilla7/capital%20one/cap1page3.jpg http://i276.photobucket.com/albums/kk19/suzilla7/capital%20one/cap1page4.jpg The above is what I have received this morning. From what I've learnt on this wonderful site I suspect it's unenforceable Have blanked my name and address etc but there are no signatures anywhere. Edit: Really just wanted to test out my new printer/scanner - £40 from Argos lol

Have found this through doing a search. I've just had this today also on my answering machine! They didn't say their name though, just my name then 'if this is you press 1, if this is not you press 2'. I wonder what debt they're chasing now....
  10. Ta, sea-sidelady. Letter sent. Today I have received a list of charges applied to my current account going back to October 2001. Is this what I asked for? No! I opened the account in the early 90's so am expecting alot more information that these few sheets of paper they've sent me. Another letter will be on its way to them today - they have provided me with a business reply envelope though
  11. The SAR that I sent to LLoyds passed it's 40 days yesterday. Today I received a standard letter saying that one of the accounts I listed is a savings account and as this incurred no charges they have not generated any copy statements for this account. This doesn't matter does it? I think they should still supply me with copy statements for this account. They actually closed the account (and my current account) in February 2008 but haven't written to me to tell me, so part of my SAR was to find out what's going on. There was just over a fiver in the account and I'm not letting them keep it lol.
  12. I found my way here via MSE and it was Moorcroft that started it - followed by APEX/BCW.
  13. Hiya Snagpuss, Does it look like mine? I had to take a photo because haven't got a scanner and it's sideways so watch your neck! http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/debt-collection-industry/144545-cahoot-cca-valid.html?highlight=cahoot I've accepted that mines valid. Sue.
  14. Thanks for the info F_DCAs, I won't bother trying to sort out any charges with Lloyds then!
  15. Ta Goldlady, I've already sent the SAR (they received it on 3rd September). I was getting impatient with not receiving the CCA! There does seem to be alot of ignoring going on between me and TSB too - they're doing better than me though lol.
  16. Re: the APR - I got some discount because I had a gold account lol I've also read that the T&C's should be on the same page as the signatures, but I've also heard the phrase 'within the four corners' of the document. My 3 pages all have a date and time stamp at the top and have consecutive numbers on them, so I'm not sure if that links them all to 'within the four corners.' I can't see how they could get all them tiny T&C's on one page! I've already sent my SAR so will see what they come up with on that. Good luck with yours! My name and address are typed on mine - how come your's are hand-written?

  18. Hiya, I asked for my CCA for a Lloyds TSB loan that I took out in 2002. My original request went to Apex in March, so it's only taken them 6 months! At least Apex closed their file on me though I noticed in the t&c's on page 2 (at the bottom) it says about charging £25 for each letter they send me if I fall behind with my payments. Ashamedly, I have a stack of them (and that's just the ones I kept.) Are these included in the reclaiming bank charges? If they are I'm going to have to do some reading lol. I have already sent a S.A.R - (Subject Access Request) to Lloyds TSB, which they received on 3rd September. Lloyds closed my current account and my savings account in February this year - I only found out when I went to pay some money into my current account (towards my overdraft.) They still haven't wrote to me about this so I don't know how I'm meant to be paying that off? I'm not sure if they have lumped my loan and overdraft together - this should show up on the S.A.R - (Subject Access Request) shouldn't it? I did claim on the PPI when I had to leave work due to illness, but was already well behind on the loan by then, and now that the loan should have finished in June, it's not paying anymore. Anyway, CCA received today - I hope I've attached it right and it can be read. *crosses fingers* Any advice welcomed, but from what I've read on this brilliant site, it seems to have all them prescribed term thingies. Sue Edit: I need to have made 5 posts to post a link - which is a bit weird because I've done it before with a Cahoot CCA??? Will reply to myself and post links.
  19. Hiya Got this today (at 12+2+21) from Cahoot for my credit card. From what I've read it seems to have all the right stuff on, but I am definitely no expert lol. Thought I would let everyone have a look anyway because it might help someone else. The thing that is puzzling me is that Cahoot originally passed the debt to Moorcroft. I asked Moorcroft for the CCA - they referred me back to Cahoot, so I asked Cahoot for the CCA (don't know if this was the right thing to do but it's done now). The funny bit is that on the cover letter Cahoot have sent with the copy of the CCA they have put "To Apex". Now, Apex have my loan account from Cahoot (which is now well past the 12+2+30) but not my credit card. If I wasn't confused enough before I now well and truly am lol. What happens now though if Moorcroft contact me again? Do I have to deal with them even though they did not supply the CCA? Any help will be gratefully received. Hope this works - first time at doing attachments. Sue. http://i276.photobucket.com/albums/kk19/suzilla7/Page2.jpg http://i276.photobucket.com/albums/kk19/suzilla7/Page1.jpg http://i276.photobucket.com/albums/kk19/suzilla7/TCcloseup.jpg Edit: They seem a bit bigger now. Haven't got a scanner so it's just a photo - could zoom into certain parts if needed.
  20. I've got this 'flashy' thing at the top telling me to post, so I suppose I'll have to be brave and do as I'm told! I've come here from MSE just for some more information about CCA stuff. Fortunately or unfortunately? I haven't got any bank/cc charges to claim back. Thanks for a brill site Sue
