Just thort I would share some fun with you guys, letter from LTSB 18.7.7., copy of 1st reply letter (sorry u not happy send £10 and we will send you the statement etc etc) 2nd letter this morning - sad to see you have not replied to our without prejudice letter - we are paying money into your accout within next 7 days. This was dated 13th - our letter hit their office 5 days before this (special delivery), my my they must be in a fair old pickle at SCM. Good luck all Hope the TV was worht the wait DOZ EVOxxxx:D :D

Doz Quick update - checked and the money is in the account. Cheers all, thanks Christina. You wont have long to wait now Doz. I am sticking mine in a deposit account (at TSB) lol, that is if they don't close the account down now they have paid me out. Keep the faith all Evoix

he he he Well done Doz, logged opn 1st thing to check your status:) You had not received anything then, but just popping out so checked e mails and noted that you had finially received the letter. I faxed acceptance (6.7.7) then special delivery'd the original to arrive on Monday, No money in my account still tho. I am gonna check again this afternoon. Very happy for you Evoix:D

Delighted for you, hope that this win saves your business and stops the bankrupcy. They seem to have paid up speedily. They received my acceptance Monday and I still haven't got the money on the account yet:(

No money in my account this morning either (see loads of others got theirs yesterday and sent the acceptance back when I did) :evil: Never mind tho the longer they keep hold of it the longer it will take me to spend it:D Will check with you Saturday Doz - Hope we see some good news from you then;)

Excellent news car, I phoned this afternoon and they said that there was about a 2 week backlog, Hope mine is paid tomorrow, I want to blow it all on a car lol

Doz, This is just a standard letter, same as the one I got on Friday, in the same post as another letter from SCM with the without prejudice offer of settlement. Been in contact today and have been advised of a 2 week delay because of all the settlements I had me review with the manager on Monday and no probs just updated personal details. There were no special markers on the record. Hope you get your 2nd letter in the morning

hi guys just to let you know, TSB acknowledged claim 30.6.7, will defend etc. Today received 2 letters 1st stating charges fair and will defend, 2nd stating charges fair but will offer full and final settlement (full amount + int)- just sign and send back (oh and arrange a meeting with manager - which I did try but have 1 with customer service rep on Monday. Sent form back special delivery tonight - should get there Monday. Will let u know when money is in account - will be thinking of you on Monday.

christina - i am a fool just reported fault on phone line - they went through the fault analysis and asked me to check out all the cables - guess what the line into the fax/phone was unplugged. see my other post tho lol :D

right folks now i am totally at a loss. this morning i got 2 letters from scm. 1st letting me know that they received the notice from northampton bla bla bla - properly incorporated - bla bla breach of contract. 2nd letter dated same date - strictly without prejudice bank intends to defend etc etc same as reported - but 2nd page full and final settlement full amount - sign and send back - contact bank manager to review account- signing and sending today. so me thinks this is victory:D :D

hi doz and den. Looks like we are all on similar timetables. Thanks for your reply doz, got my acknowledgement this afternoon. SMC acknowledged 30.6.7 and of course are defending in full. I tried to fax the schedule to them tonight with cover letter as per advice in posts (thanks for these). Looks like fax is turned off at night. Any how will send rec del on Friday morning to SMC and court. I had the added problem that I didn't put the account number on the original court docs, so glad to be able to provide docs with these on. Wasn't too sure on date of issue - so used the date I filed the claim and also inserted the acknowledged date. Is the date of service always deemed as the 5th day? Good luck

Doz I can see from your thread that u received letters from Northampton quite quickely after filing claim. I filed the claim on 21st June and still have not received a thing from the courts, should I contact them

Doz, I have filed MCOL and note that the claim is acknowledged. I have not sent the breakdown to Northampton, didn't know I needed to and the help desk didn't tell me to do it either. Have I missed something somewhere along the line? My timeline takes me to 24th July (deadline for them to file defense. Problem is I am on hols from 29th July, does this mess up everything? Thanks for any help etc
