Hi Thanks for the address, used it to chase up creation finance(land of leather ppi). They replied by saying they have forwarded my complaint directly to Land of leather's administrator,Deloitte.Any thoughts? regards Kev

Hi After writing to FOS regarding A&L decision to close our accounts in retaliation of reclaiming back nearly £3000 in charges(August 2006}. A&L have offered us £200 each in compensation. Cheers. Kev

It reads:- Before District Judge Hendicott sitting at Cardiff County Court,Civil Justice Centre, 2 Park st Cardiff CF10 1ET. Upon the courts own motion. The court has made this order of it's own initiative without a hearing. If you object to the order, you must make an application to have it set aside,varied or stayed within 7 days of receiving it. IT IS ORDERED THAT 1.DIRECTIONS WILL BE GIVEN IN THIS CASE BY THE DESIGNATED CIVIL jUDGE.HIS HONOUR jUDGE G HICKENBOTTOM ON THE 21ST DECEMBER 2006 AT 10.30AM AT CARDIFF CIVIL JUSTICE CENTRE. 2.THE PARTIES MAY APPEAR IN PERSON OR MAKE WRITTEN REPRESENTATIONS AS TO HOW THE CASE SHOULD PROCEED PROVIDED A COPY OF THE REPRESENTATIONS IS SENT TO THE COURT AND THE OTHER SIDE AT LEAST 7 WORKING DAYS PRIOR TO THE HEARING. Hi Re-recent court case(where citi didn't turn up) Received a letter from district judge. Upon hearing the claimant in person and reading the letter from the defendant IT IS ORDERED THAT: 1.The parties shall agree the issues between them by 16th November 2006 and the claimant shall by 13th November 2006 file at court a list of the agreed terms in the case. 2.THE CLAIM BE TRANSFERRED TO THE CARDIFF COUNTY COURT FOR FURTHER CASE MANAGEMENT. 3.THE COSTS OF TODAY BE COSTS IN THE CASE Kevmaxthom

Hi Received letter from A&L about two weeks after settlement saying they will close account in 30 days. I had a parachute account set up already with LloydsTSB.so no worries, it's just a pain re-doing all the direct debits etc, but well worth it. Kev

Received letter from Swansea county court. District judge has considered the statements of case and allocation questionnaires in this claim and has decided that a hearing is necessary before a final decision about allocation can be made. Hearing set for October 16th 2006. Looking closely at other claims against citi to see what they do! Kev
