  1. If Corbyn is still Labour leader in 2 years time, will some Labour MP's think about starting a new party, possibly with the Lib Dems ? There are many Labour MP's from the right of the party who are very similar politically to many Lib Dems and there is a chance of the SDP coming back. The Lib Dems are in a bit of a mess after the election and will find it very difficult to fight the 2020 election. Many Labour MP's won't want to fight Corbyn for the leadership, given the size of the vote he achieved. Therefore many Lib Dems and Labour MP's plus their supporters may be attracted to forming a major new party. If they get enough MP's involved, they could become the official opposition.
