  1. Please change names and personal details I have attached the claim as a PDF with a picture of his response at the end of it. I have asked to try to resolve this with mediation. I wait to see what happens next. He hadn't ticked any boxes saying yes to mediation. What he's written as his defence is a total lie. As if I would have purchased the car if the water leakage had been known to me! Mytchett claim with defence.pdf
  2. Have seen a lot on here about Noel Quail and Mytchett First Cars (and other company names). Have been ripped off and am taking him to the small claims court, really need some support and advise on how not to let him get one over on me. Can't believe how blatantly he is lying on the forms for his denial of my claim.
  3. Following on from the issues I have had I am relieved to now confirm that there has been a successful outcome; the car has been repaired and back in my possession. I know the process has been a long one but, Blue Motor Finance, finally agreed to foot the bill for the repairs that were needed. The process was lengthy due to them having to give Noel Quail and Mytchett First Cars time to respond to their enquiries, and, as expected he did not respond the finance company had no option but to agree to the repairs. The car was in the garage for a total of 3 months awaiting the outcome but now is sitting outside my home and I am feeling well and truly relieved.
  4. The address was 102 Mytchett Rd, Mytchett, Camberley GU16 6ET. I am in the process of gathering all other information you have requested and will post as soon as I have collated it.
  5. I purchased a car from Mytchett First Cars (salesman specifically an Irish man named Noel) and have been severely 'stitched up'; I feel this even more since finding this group and reading the history of this man and the company with its previous names too. 10th April 2021 I collected a Mercedes E class 2012 from the company and paid using a finance plan with Blue Motor Finance and I had a 6 month warranty with warranty wise so felt satisfied that all should be ok - except it wasn't. Within 10 minutes of driving the car away I found an issue with the handbrake not working so drove back to the garage to have Noel tell me this was a common problem but was not a severe issue; it was just a bit sticky. Since then I have spent £2000+ on repairs required to make it roadworthy that were not covered by the warranty apparently. Noel managed to get me a 'goodwill' payment of £500 from the warranty company. However, 2 weeks ago the engine management light came on, I took it to my mechanic who diagnosed faults including turbo charger and gearbox oil inter cooler totaling a cost of another £2500. I contacted Noel who advised to contact Warranty Wise, which I did, who have now informed me the turbo charger is not covered as the vehicle has done over 100,000 miles, which it had done when I purchased it. Since owning it I have driven less than 1000 miles in it as it has spent more days in for repair. I can see that much has been discussed about this man and his dealings - any advice on action to take would be gratefully received as I am unable to afford the repairs and am paying finance on a vehicle that is not currently roadworthy.
  6. In fact it's the same address – 102 Mytchett Road Of course it could easily be a completely different company simply occupying the same premises – but the experience that you are having is not good Downfall of car dealer who sold death traps: Chancer forged court papers and refused to pay refunds | Daily Mail Online WWW.DAILYMAIL.CO.UK Ahmed Alwaheeb's firms sold cars riddled with faults - and which sometimes had government recall notices that required manufacturers to fix safety issues - but refused to refund customers.
  7. I've just done a little search on this forum and I see that this company that you are dealing with are located in the same road as EMC motors/crown motors direct https://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/search/?&q=Mytchett &search_and_or=or&sortby=relevancy Please can you check to see if they are using the same address – and maybe they are the same company but now with a different name.
  8. I bought a car just under 6 months ago. It had faults when i collected it and the guy Noel at the garage said he would have it repaired . I realise now i should have rejected the vehicle and stood my ground. It had a 1 fault was repaired the other was allegedly repaired but it wasnt as he has now had 3 attempts to repair it and the problem is still ongoing. I have written to the garage only to be told do I think I'm getting a refund , its nearly 6 months since you purchased . I was given a useless warranty and he keeps referring me back to it. A family member also purchased a vehicle same time as me and between us we spent £7000, his vehicle has problems and he asked for it to be repaired also fobbed off and tld to speak to warranty company. The company doesn't cover the fault and the vehicle has driven less than 2000 miles since purchase. I can see this will end up in court . I don't think this man expects me to take it further.
  9. On Companies House Phev is listed at the Mytchett First Cars address... https://beta.companieshouse.gov.uk/company/12092707
  10. I see Phev Ltd (Director Ahmed Al Waheeb) with a trading name Mytchett First Cars https://register.fca.org.uk/s/firm?id=0010X00004bkzu9QAA Actually that's a lie - he's registered it under his FB name - Ammar Al-Waheib
  11. My thoughts are the other company registered in october 2019 Director Christopher Seymour "Automative Vehicle Brokers Limited" is trading as Great 4 you cars and Mytchett First Cars
  12. Surely when registering as a director of a company, your name does need to be verified? So Ahmed Al-Waheeb should be his correct name? I think I've found Daniel Vladimirescu. He mentions someone named Drocan Fabian. A Fabian Dutan also 'liked' a post in GreatCars4You... could be a coincidence but the names seem similar enough. Also Ali Mohamad Hawatme may be Alex Hawatme - his FB page he's posted selling a car and is friends with 'Fabian Dutan'. He's shown up as a director on a couple, including this one CROWN CARS DIRECT https://www.facebook.com/daniel.vladimirescu https://www.facebook.com/corinafabian.dutan/ https://www.facebook.com/alex.hat.965 This is indeed a dodgy operation.. looks like it's been going on since at least 2012. Trading names aren't all under Swift Lane. Greatcars4You is, but they say viewings can only be by appointment only. I visited the site and they do have loads of cars on their lot, no signs or ads, and after checking a few of the plates online, they are selling them on their site. Chobham Central Garage GreatCars4You Mytchett First Cars are all still trading.. need to have a better look again to refresh my memory but at least those names I know are
  13. Indeed, from what I've seen, the company names in this ring date back to 2012! I purchased mine from 8 Swift Lane Bagshot. 14. Hi mytchett-- probably best to start your own thread to get an answer to your question as I doubt you'll get that many replies on this thread which prior to yours the last post was some 3 and a half years ago.
