  1. Thanks for your advice - how would I go about paying the allocation fee? I've not received anything asking for payment...
  2. Is anyone else a little unnerved by the news that Lloyds TSB won a case in court? I am at the stage now where the case has been transferred to my local court - yet to have a date set, and no sign of an Allocation Questionnaire, although there is a note saying there won't be one. All the advice on this forum seems to be keep in there and they pay, and all the people I speak to the say the same. I guess I am a bit jumpy though, and would appreciate advice from people in the same boat, and those who have progressed further... Many thanks!
  3. sorry, got cut off there! continued - requested to particularise each and every charge etc etc Obviously, this has been sent to the bank, on several occasions, but is it worth sending to Wragge and the court also? Well done on getting the cheque through! One other thing I have heard about is A and L subsequently closing accounts - has this happened to you?
  4. As Caza says, most useful advice blimeyboy. One thing I have picked up from a couple of other threads is when reading the 'defence' Wragge send through, it mentions "Insufficient particulars of claime" - usually items 9-11. In particular item 10 talks about claimant failing to particularise the claim against the defendant adequately, and the claimant is requested
  5. I am at exactly the same stage now, defence received in the post on Friday, but no AQ yet. I also received a cheque in partial settlement, which I have done nothing with yet. Do I need to formally reject this partial offer, and what should expect next? Thanks!
  6. Nice one - thanks for your advice blimeyboy - have you been successful yourself with A and L?
  7. Thanks! Further update: I've had a letter from Wragge & Co today, with an acknowledgement of service saying they intend to defend. I assume this is a delaying tactic to buy more time. Seems odd so soon after the partial offer!
  8. I have also had a letter from Wragge & Co - with acknowledgement of service saying they intend to defend - this buys them another 14 days (28 instead of 14), so not too worried just yet!
  9. Hi, Similar query for me. I've submitted MCOL, and have received a letter from A and L, enclosing cheque for £370 (claim is for £1,500) being the difference between £36 charges, and £12 charges used by credit card firms. They have given me the option to refuse, but wondered what I need to do after refusing? Anyone have any advice? Thanks.
