Hi, I've finally receved almost all of my statments from HSBC. Only got jul06 to the request date to come. If I should expect anything else, IE what does the SAR acually request? I'll be sending the perlim later this week. Thanks Dan

Give Paul Miney a call and explain you havnt receved a list of all the charges. Explain that you came from a sonycard which may explain it. He'll probably offer to settle over the phone once he has got all the charges. Dan

I spoke to paul this morning. A very helpfull guy, offerd me the origanal charges, I asked for the compound intrest. He only calculated it up to when my ballance was payed off, so asked for 8% on top Not entily sure how he came to the final figgure, but am happy with the final settle ment figgure Now to decide what to spend it on. edit: forgot to say thanks for the help

Well, I've sent of my perlim this week for £274, after being offerd £100 as a good will gesture. Not mutch I know but evey penny helps. Hopefully I will get it all back without having to phone them up. fingers crossed

Hi, I'm not 100% if this is the right place to ask this but I'll go ahead anyway. I sent my dpa/Subject access letter off to mbna a while ago, I've receved a letter from them with a breakdown of charges and a form for subject access requesting id. Should I accept that this list is correct and not bother with sending off for subject access or should I press on with it? If I do request it do I need to give them another 40 days or do I stick to the origanal time frame? Thanks Dan
