Gizmo111 V Citicards**PAID AFTER BALIFFS VISIT**
icepop55 replied to gizmo111's topic in Other Institutions Successes
Hi Gizmo Today I received at last a Court payment in cheque form with all the additional costs from Citi. After issusing two Warrents against CitiCards their had to pay. Salford is the mainstay. The second warrent did the works (issued to Salford address). As the courts received payment on the 24th July,by bailiffs, the money was'nt released until the 7th August. Its only now that I have the cheque. The process is so slow? Don't lose any sleep over it! Just attack SALFORD OFFICE with Brian in mind. -

Hi Gc Just sending a letter to MBNA asking why their have'nt sent the agreed payment as per offer. I only wish a small explaination? As to you and it seems to others as well, are we all on the I CAN WAIT LIST.
-
Oh I'am so sorry what I have just read on your thread Gc... As Enron says yours 'The Judge' was it seems in fixed mind therefore not playing the GAME! However, Enron suggests that because the OFT ruling is NOT against credit Card penalties then why has'nt it been heard and dealt with? You where in court for that reason? I do not understand, and further more is this a discretionary reaction to the OFT ruling or just plane discerning.

Gc Will look in later on your site. Go for them lady?

Hi Gc Wecome to the MBNA? Since the start of the postal strikes I will have give them some more time to respond. Then I will claim collectively. So no is your answer!! I do need to know if I address collective to MBNA or 'do' them both seperately?

Citicards tactics adjustment?

Hi Gc A LETTER FROM SALFORD COUNTY COURT TODAY!!!!!!!!!!!! DATED 24/07. I don't know how to write this? HARMONIOUS READING WITH A ENDING..... In the SALFORD County Court, (Claimant) Icepop (Defendant 1) CitiFinancial Europe Plc To Icepop In respect of a Warrant issued in the NORTHAMPTON (CCBC) County Court A cheque has been received today for £227.63. This amount will be forwarded to you after clearance of the cheque by the Court's bank. Question? Initial reclaim £111.00 Costs £116.63 Not what I call -good all fashion prudence- as they like to psychologicaly inflict on us! So this little battle has with Citi, come to a close? NO. I do believe they have taken over exsisting other accounts to which I had. So far so GOOD. Whether the news today will bring joy to all claimants regarding a full high court hearing on charges against the banks remains to be seen. My own gut feeling says we will win and wonder how will the banks regard the lost. So my other battles commence. -

Hi Gc 'Time wasting' has ring about it concerning Citi. There must know something that we don't or the Americans are running in circles. It seems all relating against the American companies (MBNA etc) are employing the same tactics. As for me, Yes. One judgement, one warrant and still no action? Somehow, I would'nt even at this stage see a SETASIDE? -

Citicards tactics adjustment?
icepop55 replied to icepop55's topic in CitiCards/Citi Financial/Associates
Hi to all I have started a new thread on the MBNA site regarding MBNA Late payments Fees. The stupid buggers have really messed UP!!!! As regards to Citi. No news yet. -
Hi to All on this site! My tale to date with MBNA? Reclaiming Credit Card Fees. After HSBC, First Direct and Halifax I though MBNA would eventual result in my favor. I have a ongoing fight with Citi, that is a fight? Initaily, I rejected the first offer then accepted the total amount. MBNA then added the total settlement to the DCA (Debt Clear Recoveries & Investigations Ltd). As I have'nt been paid apart from the first offer which I still have the cheque uncashed. I receive a letter from the acting DCA an increase to my debt? To my eventful suprise the total offer has been placed in the DCA accounts as a added increase to the debt. It does seem I have been penalize twice. This I believe was to disguise the so called goodwill payments offer? But what the stupid buggers have forgotten was to pay me in the first place. I have wrote to them questioning the sequence of they dumness and have given them 10 days before I start actions in court regarding penalty fees and secondary penalty fee. I have said this will incur contractual and statutory interest plus costs? I would like to know if this has been seen before? Please let me know of what you think!!!!!!!

Hi Gc I have accepted but told not to pursue the wasted costs bits. It is deemed that they have settled in full and also the amount in question is negligible. The jugde could dismiss this because its discretionary( maybe on my part).
