I am in the Hairdressing business. I have always paid towards a 'Music Licence'. In this instants a PRS Fee. Up to now the PPL has written to me saying I also need its licence. As the rules apply if I am a PRS feeing body I dont need the PPL licence. But, the PPL say I need both Licences!!! Stricky speaking, the PRS is for live music and PPL radio stuff. I wish to know where I stand on this issue? As a small business, althougth I RESENT paying one but to pay for two licences I find this differcult credence uncredible and hard to take. Can someone help me with this matter.

Well, what a strange day!!! Mr J.T.Wild rang me at work and announced that MBNA have written to the Court to withdraw the Summary judgment application against me. No reason was given or explanation offered apart from the usual costs of litigation but to say there didn't want to go any further???? Wants me to sign a CONSENT ORDER.It seems in order, with all order costs withdrawn and all further proceedings in the claim be STAYED. Will post all.

Restons sent this letter today???? Its it worth replying too.

Hi Steven The court manager did apologize about the appointment and did approve about the 11th August. He is confirming this in writing.

Hi All Today recieved a letter from Court; NOTICE OF AJOURNED HEARING. There (Restons) have applied to move the court hearing to the 28th July. I phoned the court manager today to ask the date to be moved again to the 11th August for I do not return from holiday until the 2nd... My annoyance with both(Court & Restons) is that I announce that certain dates that I could'nt make? It seems 'Restons' are playing silly buggers and the courts did'nt check A/Q before allowing the AJOURNMENT.
