  1. Just recieved what seems to be the standard letter from Neil McKirdy, Customer Relations Manager. Quick - as I posted it on Monday after leaving the envelope at work on Friday - so letter was dated 15th but sent on 18th and their reply letter back is dated 20th. I'm off work until Tuesday and have no printer at home so Tuesday my LBA will be sent - actually I'll just probably walk along with it... as I work on Waterloo Street about 2 blocks up from Customer Relations - on Tuesday!
  2. Hi there - has anyone had any experience with regards to the Clydesdale in this situation? I posted on this earlier in the week but on a third serach found this thread. I am about to start a claim for my sister on her individual accounts and on the joint accounts she previously had with her ex husband. Again - this was not an amicable seperation and so she wouldn't want him to be involved. They do have 3 children together though - and my thought was if it came to it she could set up some type of saving accounts for the kids to put 'his' half into?
  3. if i were you I'd send the thank you for partial payment letter and proceed with moneyclaim to the dates you were planning?
  4. Hi there: I have decided to help my sister out with her claims - I told her about this opportunity and she indicated that she has a had a fair amount of bank charges over the last 6 years with Clydesdale. Some on her individual accounts - but most she indicates on the joint account she had with her (now ex) husband. I have had a look through FAQ & done a general search - and found this And I wonder if someone may be able to elaborate -apologies if this has been answered elsewhere but I have looked and couldn't find anything! Can my sister claim on joint bank accounts that are now closed where they were under her and her ex husbands name and they both had joint authority? It was not an amicable split and so she wouldn't want to involve him in the process. (He wouldn't have even thought about completing such a claim - so there's no worries that he got there first.)
  5. I sent out the first letter yesterday and will let you know of any reply. My claim is for a relatively small amount compared to others - £75 over a 6 year period - as I try to be good with my bank accounts - but its better in my pocket than theirs! My boyfriend is writing out to the halifax today to get a detail of all his charges. he estimates that its got to be over £300 at least. He will no doubt add to the site as time goes on.
